The course looks nothing like the pictures online. a number of the tea boxes have not been mowed and they’re full of crabgrass. Fairways need to be cut as does is rough. It’s a terrible value for your money I would go play elsewhere.

For a place that charges as much as this one does (never mind the deal I received) the practice facilities are not very good. Range is closed on Wednesdays (why?), and labeled Irons only - really no chance to warm up the 3 wood or driver swing? Bunkers are barely passable - which is to say, I've seen worse but not really sandy either. Why do courses have bunkers if they can't maintain them? Otherwise I do like playing here. It is beautiful and has some challenging holes.

You can’t possibly hit a shot that finds a fairway when the tees are placed on lumpy ground with giant divots taken that haven’t been filled. The rest of the course was great but the tee boxes looked like an anti-tank mine had gone off on them. 0/10 for the tee boxes 8/10 for everything else

Tee boxes and bunkers need lots of work. Bunkers are solid cement, and tee boxes are very unlevel and sometimes have 90% divots and very little grass.

I love this course it’s one of my favorite courses in the San Francisco Bay area

Course was obviously under maintained. Too bad as it is a good layout. Good value for the price.

I was disappointed that the between front and back nine food stand was closed. It was getting warm and wanted to get something to snack on and drink. No one driving around to sell stuff and the Bar closed at 3:30 which is hardly good for someone with a noon tee time. Don't know if they have issues with finding staff or what, but for these prices, you would expect better.

This is one of two courses in this area that are somewhat challenging with elevation differences and some very long par 4's.

Conditions here have really gotten worse. Haven't played here since 2021. Conditions now are worse than the local muni. Fairways were unmowed, rough was just plain rough with several muddy ruts. No sand in the bunkers. Place has not been maintained well but the price has gone up. I use to like this course and enjoyed the layout but conditions have deteriorated. Not planning to come back uless conditions improve. Many better options in that price range.

Always enjoy playing here but the course isn’t what it use to be. It’s kind of a mirage here, as what you see can be either or.

Tee boxes were too wet for me yesterday, as it wasn’t more than 69 degrees and windy all day. I get preparing for heat but man, these tee boxes are either chewed up, or too wet.

Greens were verticut and could be good in a week. Otherwise they were too grainy.

Had to play the ball up most of the day as ground conditions leave something to be desired. Hole 7 is a mess around the green as are many.

The tee boxes on 10 & 14 are horrendous. These are the two best holes out here too. It’s a shame…

…but I’ll be back eventually. There is always a decent golf now deal and the course has its upsides.

I was hesitant to play due to all the bad reviews on here. However, I watched a YouTuber play here recently and he didn’t complain about it at all. I called ahead before I booked to ask about the reviews. The gentleman on the phone acknowledged the prior complaints but reassured me that they’d hired a new greens keeper and the conditions were trending up.

I’m glad I booked! Everything was beautiful. The fairways are in great shape. No problems at all with the greens. It’s absolutely beautiful. The mountains and vineyards make for amazing views.

The staff was uninterested in helping me in the pro shop and seemed to be trying to rush me out so he could get back to watching the tournament on the TV. Bathrooms were classy old school with wooden lockers and plenty of privacy, but in bad need of a cleaning.

I went to play golf, though, not to be waited on. Great course. If I’m ever back in that part of the country, would definitely go back.

Tremendous golf course, very fun to play with beautiful scenery. The staff is awesome, very friendly and professional. Always a challenge!

Eagle vines has a wonderful setting that is challenging and fair in terms of being a Golf test. I hope management reads this review and makes a few adjustments. The first many holes are wonderful and well-maintained. But as the course went towards the back nine especially on holes 13 and 14. The tee boxes were simply atrocious and the holes were Scruffy in many places. In the past it was a real treat to play Eagle-vines but after my most visit recent visit i am not in a hurry to come back due to the suspect conditions.
