About
Eagle Vines Vineyards & Golf Club is tucked away in the foothills of Napa Valley, offering one of the most scenic courses in the area. It is also considered by many locals to be one of the most challenging. Every hole on the golf course provides stunning views of the surrounding vineyards. The layout sprawls across gently rolling hills that weave through stands of mature cherry and oak trees, shimmering waterfalls, and meandering creeks. The golf course offers challenging multi-tiered greens and postage-stamp landing areas that demand well placed iron shots. The memorable seventh hole features an even more difficult island green. There are also some tricky fairways that seem much more open than they are. Eagle Vines numerous risk-reward opportunities that will have golfers using every club in their bag.

Good Course
Played at 7 am with very cold weather.
The layout was good, but the boundaries were difficult to identify.
The tee boxes were not level and there was little grass on them.
The fairways were in good condition with the exception on a few holes there was a lot of standing water.
The greens had a lot of unrepaired pitch marks which was frustrating but they rolled well once it got warmer.
The fact that it was cart path only and the cart path was very muddy and not well maintained was somewhat frustrating.
I do think this course plays much better in the warmer weather.

Pace of Play Unacceptable
Got a 11:20 tee time thinking it was plenty of time for 18. Some scramble happening and pace of play was worse I’ve ever experienced. No Marshall speeding up play. Bottom line I had to leave the course after 16 cause it was dark..almost 6 hours after teeing off. Never again.

Great Course. Driving range could be better. Tough pin positions. Better be able to hit straight. Great fun.

LACKS ATTENTION!
i like the course and have played it many times before but unfortunately maintenance has deteriorated!
2 Areas that need immediate improvement:
1) Tee Boxes must be repaired ASAP
2) Marshalls must be actively roving to keep pace of play within 4-4.5 hours maximum. We teed off 1230pm and ended up 530pm and not able to finish last 2 holes!!!

Totally Disappointing
Course is poorly maintained especially fairways from muddy soggy to totally bare soil absolutely void of grass.
And it wasn't because of rains!!!!

Good and Bad
Staff was friendly and the breakfast was delicious with generous portions. The practice range was littered with dozens of empty ball-baskets everywhere like they hadn't been picked up all day(s). (we were there at 11AM).
One of the carts we got was full of trash (packed cooler of empties and wrappers/trash in the front compartment/basket too. More trash than could be gathered in one trip to the garbage can to clean it ourselves. The tee boxes were destroyed- virtually no grass left in the hitting area. Everything else was great- the greens were excellent and course conditions were super. We didn't see a marshal or beverage cart all day (maybe this is normal?). Play was a bit slow with group in front of us hacking away so a marshal would have been good to keep pace. We were a foursome and NOT playing fast at all (we shot 90-100 range to give you an idea). So overall good with some excellent notes and some bad notes.

Terrific course - some challenges
Tee boxes were not in great shape. Fairways were very good. Greens in veryt good shape. Some pin placements were in very challenging positions; a bit too difficult for the weekend player. The most difficult pinplacements that I have seen on the course. Beautiful vineyard views. Players ahead were a bit slow; particularly on greens. Maybe due to difficult pin placements. Overall, a grat coursw that I look forward to playing again soon.
