Kelly Plantation Golf Club

The conditions were good and the greens were superbly kept ans fast. The sand traps were abundant and the sand was the white fine granular sand.

Had a wonderful time at Kelly Plantation. Course was in excellent condition as alway.. Ashton Crow and the entire staff were a delight to deal with.

Overall it was awesome very nice course and will definitely play it again! I will say the price is a little to high for the course. Regatta is nicer and cheaper! But thank y’all and had a fantastic day!

It is a nice layout albeit a resort course. The greens are fast and true. I would not call it fantastic. However, at almost $200 it felt like an overpriced muni. If I were a member, I would be not happy as it is packed with outside play. Pace was very slow - waited on every hole - although they did come out once to motivate the group ahead of us. I should have gone to the Ft Walton Beach public course and paid $170 less. I guess they can get their asking price due to tourist demand. I would play it again, if it was around $70.

As a local, I have played all the courses in the Destin/Niceville area and I would say Kelly Plantation is excellent. From the moment you pull up to the bag drop you are treated with a sense of welcoming. Checking in at the pro shop the professionalism continues. Great range and putting green with an area to practice chipping and bunker play is available. The holes are challenging but not unfair. Like every course, if you stay in the fairway you will generally have a better chance of par or better. The drink cart came by at least four times. At the tenth hole there are apples available for a snack. During this hot summer, ice cold mango scented towels are available at holes 1 and 10. Finally at the end of your round the clubhouse has an excellent restaurant with fresh hot cookies as a complimentary dessert! Great course and my favorite in the area. Kudos to Ashton Crowe, John Townsend and Spence Finkes for running a fantastic facility!

My favorite golf course in Destin. We always have a great experience while playing golf and everyone so friendly and helpful..

This course has a great layout with plenty of easy and challenging holes. Had to play on aerificted greens and fairways but really enjoyed the pace of play and friendly staff. Had a great time and will be back.

The best golf course in the area. It's been aerated, so the greens were slow, but it's an awesome golf course. Highly recommended!

The course had aerated the fairways and greens the day before, reduced green fees were spot on. The course was in as good as shape as could be for aeration. Greens rolled really nice for being aerated. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Would love to go back during prestine conditions , the course was beautiful. Would recommend to anyone interested Destin area to play.
