Kelly Plantation Golf Club

Ashton Crowe, John & Spencer’s hospitality is second to none. The practice facilities & course is in great shape. From the staff to facilities Kelly is top notch and I always look forward to playing there.

We enjoy playing Kelly Plantation every year on vacation from Texas. Definitely one of the best in the area.

Course is well kept - fairways and greens in great shape. Greens are fast from my perspective - which I enjoyed. Course is a little more difficult than The Raven and Regatta (if you’re looking for a comparison) due to tighter fairways and more water.

Started at 3pm and finished at 6:40pm - only two of us but pace was excellent.

2nd time playing this course and will play again.

Staff was very friendly. Front 9 was very pretty with lots of water views, but not necessarily hazards. Greens/pin placements were challenging. Maybe 6 tees allowed range of players to play.

Of course the o Lu draw back is pace of play. Other than that I highly recommend playing it

Immaculate Course! Can’t wait to return and play again. Weather had not been cooperating all week, but thankfully this day was beautiful! Quick greens, fun layout and nice people. (Cart screen didn’t work, we had the info on our phones. They would have traded out the cart, but we didn’t care). Overall - had a great time and enjoyed the round!

This is a don’t miss experience. Loved ever part of the day. The staff was very helpful. Course was In perfect shape even with lots of rain.

I have played Kelly plantation at least 10 times and usually have a very good experience. As we arrived to drop our clubs at the bag drop no one was there so we had to get our bags out and load them on a cart ourselves. When we walked up and asked the guy that came up from the cart barn how do we get ice for the cooler he said to go inside with the cooler from the cart to get the ice ourselves! Then when we went to the bar the bartender was not friendly and had an attitude. I don’t remember her name but she had a sleeve on one of her arms. We were told we needed to buy some drinks from her to not have a charge for ice. Usually in the past there has been a man at the bar who is very accommodating and makes great drinks. Many of the fairways have some bare or thin spots on them. Looks like they’ve had some kind of disease. To spend well over $100 this was not a great experience . The only Kelly plantation associates that we found friendly and accommodating were the starter and the cart girl. I will not return for a while and stick with Regatta Bay and Emerald Bay golf courses which are in great shape and have excellent customer service.

Entire experience start to finish was amazing. Don’t miss this track. Worth every penny and then some.

Excellent course, amazing experience. All due to Ashton Crowe, class act guy and helped us out a ton to ultimately give us the best course experience of our lives. We met Ashton looking for directions and he was nice enough to give us his business card and get us a tee time right away!

I will definitely play it again. One of the top courses in Destin. Greens and fairways are absolutely perfect. Highly recommend it

This was my first time playing KPGC. The course was very nice, especially the greens. The clubhouse was lovely with an ample selection of food items, snacks, and drinks. The pro shop had a variety of apparel selections. Just a few items of note that took away from the experience. First, there is a $35 rider fee for my wife riding in the cart with me. The greens fee are expensive enough without getting hit with another $35 fee. I saw nothing on Golf Now or on the KPGC website indicating this extra fee. Second, we were told there would be a beverage and snack cart riding the course. There wasn’t. Finally, they advertise their cold apples. There wasn’t any apples.
