The Crooked Cat Course is one of two 18-hole regulation courses at the Orange County National Golf Center and Lodge. The facility is also home to a nine-hole executive course. The Crooked Cat Course is a challenge with dramatic elevation changes and rolling fairways that are framed with mounding. The golf course has a links-style design with large, contoured greens and wide landing areas. Water hazards and several bunkers come into play throughout. There are also trees and native heather present on the course for a naturally beautiful atmosphere. Orange County National's Crooked Cat Course is favored among low handicappers due to its length and difficulty.

Golf itself was fantastic!

We had an absolute blast until we ran into the mowers about an hour after our tee time, if it werent for them I would make the trip here to play very often, most of the group has worked on a golf course before and understand everyones doing their job however we had 3 golf balls blatantly ran over by mowers as well as tee boxes mowed literally 20 feet away while we hit and the same was to be said from fairway to green even cutting in across fairways as we hit. This golf course was great and could've been a much better experience for our group as well as the groups in front according to the young man at the bag drop who let us know they ran into the same issues.

I play this course maybe three times a year. Good to see it back to the condition it used to be in.

My only negative comment would be the pace of play felt quite slow.

It won’t keep me from returning though.

Great round of golf

Course layout is challenging but fair. With all the recent rain in the area the course was in excellent condition. Fairways and greens were top notch. Staff was friendly and the ranger was patrolling the holes to ensure groups were moving at a steady rate. Pace of play was good, finished up in just under 4.5 hrs. Definitely a course in the Orlando area that should not be missed.

Really a nice course and well maintained

Played crooked cat for the first time in over a decade.

The course is in very good shape. Greens running a good 12. Rough was very penal as it’s rained a lot here in central florida and it’s hard to keep up with.

A ball in the rough a foot off the fairway required a search party. But it was even and challenging.

Nice pro shop and friendly staff made for a great experience.

Not worth $70. They don’t care about FL residents

You are better off saving $20 and okay it cheaper or spending $20 more and playing Champions gate. Groundskeeping works hard. But 4 of the fairways were covered with leaves. No food at the turn. They gave me a used score card and told me to flip it over. They clearly only care about out of state players. You are MUCH better off playing Rio Pinar for cheaper or spending $10 more and playing somewhere you are valued as a customer. Played here 7 times and every time it’s gotten much worse

The four of us were there celebrating Ralph Jordans birthday. From the time we got out of the car and dropped our bags off until the we departed it was all first class. Greeted warmly when we arrived, the counter attendant in the pro shop was very conversational and the starter was great providing us with good information and friendly chatter. The course was impeccable with fast but true greens, pace of play was fantastic and at times we were guilty of slow play but the ranger forgave us for it. Will definitely be back again…

I have played OCN several times though it has been 6 months or so. As usual Crooked Cat was in great condition, easily the best fairways and greens I have played in a year. The layout is fun, yet challenging. The rough makes for some additional challenges, so stay out of the rough. The staff is always great, can’t wait to play again.

This is one course I can always assume is in good shape. I’ve never seen this course in bad shape. The fairways, greens, tee boxes, were all in great shape. The greens were SUPER fast and rolling true. And it pays to stay in the fairway…if not, you’ll be hitting out of some thick Bermuda. The only gripe I have with this course is all the trees that sit right in or right by the fairway. I had multiple drives in the fairway that were ruined by trees causing an obstruction on the second shot (from the fairway). But I’ve always loved playing at Orange County National.
