About
The Crooked Cat Course is one of two 18-hole regulation courses at the Orange County National Golf Center and Lodge. The facility is also home to a nine-hole executive course. The Crooked Cat Course is a challenge with dramatic elevation changes and rolling fairways that are framed with mounding. The golf course has a links-style design with large, contoured greens and wide landing areas. Water hazards and several bunkers come into play throughout. There are also trees and native heather present on the course for a naturally beautiful atmosphere. Orange County National's Crooked Cat Course is favored among low handicappers due to its length and difficulty.

Great layout
So much is unique about this course. Elevation changes (in FL), Plateaued fairways with interesting mounding down the sides, large fast and sloping greens. Seems to play longer than the stated distance, but a fair test. The club house could do more in terms of merchandise and affordable options. A must play course if you are in the area ... also worth the trip if you're not.

Average course, conditions weren’t great
Searched for a course to play local to me whilst on vacation in Orlando, had 7:30 tee off was put with 3 senior players, was obliged to play off white tees with them. Most tee areas were really poor with worn grass. Greens were too sandy, fairways ok. Constantly waiting for group in front so was extremely slow play.
Paid 80 dollars which I thought was excessive for this course.
Wouldn’t play again there.

Tee times
We had a 4 person tee time at 206 and on the tee had a 2 some roll up, then a single roll up which we let hit and play if front of us. Through the round we had 3 more small groups that we let play though. Kinda need to pair those singles and doubles up. Course was very fun, greens were a bit firm but it was late afternoon. Nothing that would keep me from playing again, however I would try and book a early time as apparently lots of singles and doubles try and save money on afternoon rates and fly through.

Not worth it
I understand Orlando golf is expensive but this course is not worth the drive or money. You would be better off spending the extra 10-20 dollars going to a nicer course

Course is in great condition. The only reason I did not rate it higher is that the Panther Lake course is on site. Given the choice, I’d play Panther as it’s more scenic, challenging and a better layout.
