The Crooked Cat Course is one of two 18-hole regulation courses at the Orange County National Golf Center and Lodge. The facility is also home to a nine-hole executive course. The Crooked Cat Course is a challenge with dramatic elevation changes and rolling fairways that are framed with mounding. The golf course has a links-style design with large, contoured greens and wide landing areas. Water hazards and several bunkers come into play throughout. There are also trees and native heather present on the course for a naturally beautiful atmosphere. Orange County National's Crooked Cat Course is favored among low handicappers due to its length and difficulty.

As good as the reviews started

The course was in great condition even with the amount of drought that the center part of Florida is having. The sand traps had plenty of Sand so you could take great clean shots. The Greens rolled true though some of them had been recently sanded they still performed very well. I would recommend this course to anyone from a 1 handicap to a 30 with 6 tee boxes anyone could play.

Slow play

Extremely slow play due to a fog delay in the am and members of a group running extremely late didn’t get to tee off till 1:45… our tee time was at 1:00.

Fantastic Course

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Crooked Cat. Tee boxes were in excellent condition, fairways were plush and the greens ran true. We will definitely play this course again.

Nice renovation

There was a slight kerfuffle when a group accidentally jumped in front of our foursome, but it was handled quickly and professionally by staff.

The new greens are HARD. So, if the hole location is in the back, play to the front. If it's in the front, play a high ball or you're cooked.

Love OCN , crooked cat has been in better shape. Greens were bumpy, slow front nine , faster on back. Other than that. Always a great time here. Practice facilities are top notch. Course is still a gem!

Lovely layout

Over all this is a very nice course. The only down side was, the greens were very lumpy. All the greens had the balls bouncing. But other than that great course, the pace of play is what it is. It might help if there was a Marshall to help with the pace. Weekend golfers what can you say. Enjoyed the scenery while waiting to tee off. Very nice course. 5 Stars fit course layout.

Amazing condition!
