Great for the Cost
Listen, it's an okay golf course in a nice area for a relatively great price. Some of the grass is brown, but this is Southern California. We're in a huge drought. The staff is friendly enough. The clubhouse has decent enough bar food. I come here often to work on my game.
Nice course
RSJ is a good OC course, providing challenging play. The restaurant/bar is closed until April for renovations.

Never have had a bad time here. Dynamic course and awesome location!
Golf now scammed me
I had planned on golfing on the 25th when my son broke his arm that evening. It was not within the 24 hours to cancel and I tried to call the golf course in the morning but no one answered. I was charged the full amount for two people even though I did not go. I am sure they got walk on‘s to take my place as I have been able to walk on in the morning myself. So they got double paid for my teatime that I did not play. I have tried numerous times to get a refund and they do not seem to want to help me out. I will never play Rancho play Nor will I use golf now. Very disappointed
OK course to play
I played consecutive rounds on Dec 3 ($65) and Dec 4 ($49 hot deal). Considering that the fairways are pretty chewed up from all of the carts, I'd say that the hot deal price is what they should be charging all the time. However, the course layout is fun and challenging. Back tees are more like blue tees at most golf courses. The pace of play is good (under 4.5) and the cheeseburger lunch deal is awesome. Lots of duck and groot poop everywhere but better than cows and goats ;)
Poor fairway and poop everywhere
Fairway no glasses only yellow mud ground like sanding area. And everywhere full of poop so bad walking fairway and everywhere.
