About
Opened in 1929, Willowick Golf Course in Santa Ana is Orange County's oldest public golf course. It is a challenging layout that has garnered a quite a following over the years. The course features wide fairways and large greens that offer ample room. There aren’t any water hazards a few strategically placed sand traps come into play and there are also mature trees lining the fairways. Golfers will get to practice a variety of different shots on this course. It is player-friendly enough for high-handicappers but there are still some challenges for low handicappers. The excellent condition of the greens and fairways are inviting no matter what your skill level. In addition to the golf course, Willowick also offers a grass driving range and three practice putting greens.

You get what you pay
Entire course could use a lot of TLC, but then again with how expensive golf is nowadays you get what you pay.
Fun course for the money
Fairways a little rough but nice course and they are about to airrate the greens , so check ahead
Greens fantastic shape!
Played on a Wednesday at 10:30 AM
Course was not too busy, generous fairways but watch out for potholes and bumps and gopher holes.
Greens were outstanding. Would recommend for value conscious golfers.
Willowick
I used to play twilight here after work some twenty years ago. I believe the course is now in much better condition while maintaining the original characteristics of the course. The starter (Brian) was very friendly and made feel at home. I would love to come back to play over and over again.

Awful course go anywhere else
Layout is horrible course is in awful condition fairways are more dirt than they are grass.
If you can find the money, kill all the gophers. Re-level the fairways to eliminate the thousands of gopher hills and depressions. Put down new turf..
I love this old course and it deserves to be restored. Greens are good but slow.
