First time playing and I really enjoyed playing the course. Bring your driver and your best pitching game cause every green will require it. The fairways could use some maintenance and the surrounding area/ neighborhood is super sketchy; stay in the fairways and you’ll have a great time

The fairways are rough and lots of new grass needs to be planted. But it's hard to lose a ball, the layout is fun and the greens are pretty good. It's a great neighborhood course for any skill level. I keep coming back after 11 years and I will continue to :-)

As a first timer, not knowing the course layout, me and my buddy were often quite confused where to go next. Signage/direction is vital. Also, the fairways were very poorly maintained. And the tee boxes were very uneven. I almost rolled an ankle twice in the tee box. The greens were okay, but not uniform in performance, so it was hard to putt with consistency. For this kind of course, the bunkers should not be this ludicrously sized/shaped. Until major improvements are made or the cost comes down 20%, would not go back.

Second worst course I've played. At this point can you call it a golf course. Horrible conditions. There was someone living in a tent on the 17th hole by the tee box. (I'm not joking)

This was the first time playing Willowick, and as advertised it was definitely the oldest course in Orange County. However, with the old came a whole host of problems. Have never seen so many gopher holes, gopher mounds, etc. The lack of attention to this problem has allowed to rodents to completely destroy the fairways and some tee boxes. Make sure you watch your step, as you might twist an ankle, or hold on for an extremely bumpy ride in your golf cart. On a positive note, the golf carts are strong, visually esthetic and in good working order.

Signage is basically non-existent, and if you are lucky you might find yourself playing the course in numerical order. Most likely out of order.

On two of the holes you will find yourself having to navigate around trash, clothes, and tents all associated with homeless camps. Don't leave your cart unattended, as your valuables may disappear.

I would not recommend this course to friends, family or enemies. Until someone shows some interest in just a modicum of maintenance or ownership, I'll never return.

There was bums living on the course!! And it was full of gang graffiti everywhere.. Ridiculous can’t believe this course is still in business

If you’re looking for a cheap round with available AM tee times this is the place. The greens are kept up okay, but the fairways are rough, even for a public course.

This course has been on the decline for years. I think its finally on its last leg. Every aspect of this course is bad. The bathrooms with sinks that do not work , the fairways , greens , tee boxes . Its all a mess.
