Westchase Golf Club
About
Designed by Lloyd Clifton, Westchase winds through acres of lakes, conservation areas and forest. It offers manicured greens surrounded by natural wetlands, wooden bridges and bulkheads. With its 9,500 sq. ft. clubhouse, full-service dining room, and fully stocked pro shop, Westchase offers a country club atmosphere along with first-class service. The golf club has established itself as one of Tampa Bay's best upscale golf facilities. The front nine meander through an impressive pine forest. The back nine -- which is demanding on the tee shot -- features lakes, wetlands and cypress. Strategically placed bunkers, more sparkling lakes and stands of cypress, oak, palmetto and pine frame the fairways and greens. Signature Hole No. 3, at 212 yards from the back tee, is all you can handle -- It's a Par 3 all-carry over water from the back tee!

Westchase Golf Club
Played Westchase in the morning and everything was great…quick check in, went out right away and the course was in excellent shape. Highly recommend if you haven’t played here…
Greens punched
The green have been recently punched. They needed some sand to fool the punches. Putting was vert difficult. The c ourselves otherwise was in great shape. Played this course regularly when it opened. Then bit so much when the prices were out of control. Also the driving range was dirt. Not so good.
Would play again
Haven’t been out to Westchase in quite some time. Mainly due to the crazy cost being charged to play it. Got lucky and snagged a fairly priced twilight round. Looks as if the course was punched within the last 10 days, maybe that explains the rate, but it wasn’t so bad you couldn’t enjoy it. Some bumpy putts but to be expected. Pace of play was bunched as we hit the back 9 but overall didn’t completely kill the vibe. Some tee boxes could use some work but what course couldn’t. Seems not many fill divot holes anymore. If the rate remains similar I would be happy to play again. $80-100 not so much.
Great value for money
The staff was really friendly and made us feel welcome. The course was in really good shape and the lay-out was challenging but not that hard. Pace was good and everything looked really well maintained. Great value for money.
Greens and Pace of Play Much Better
Played Saturday morning tee time at 950. Got done in 4hrs on a Saturday holiday weekend was a very pleasant surprise as mindset was ready for 4.5+. Greens are improved as they are not bumpy anymore but really firm. Im sure from the lack of rain which is understandable. Ranger was on course which was nice. Saw cart girl twice as well. Solid overall round!
Not your typical Florida golf course
Course was set in a beautiful residential area. Lots of trees, green grass (not dried out like many courses), and well maintained tee boxes, fairways and greens. Staff very friendly and pace of play good.
Overrated
Love this course it’s great and all, but it’s pretty darn average. Tee boxes are shaggy and seedy, greens don’t roll true. But of all things the price for this course is outrageous and is the biggest downfall of why I never go back. Especially when you can pay $15 more at Disney World for an actual well groomed course with greens that do roll true, and have top end staff and a nice clubhouse. That or any other place in that price range. When you pay$130 for a tee time here you better be expecting a course with great conditions. Does not meet nor add up. I would pay at most $70 for a round here in (peak) season.
2nd time playing this course, lot of fun. Course in great shape. Saw deers on the course. Definitely recommend this course.
Use gn and play for $50.00.
Can't play decent Disney for that.
