About
Designed by Lloyd Clifton, Westchase winds through acres of lakes, conservation areas and forest. It offers manicured greens surrounded by natural wetlands, wooden bridges and bulkheads. With its 9,500 sq. ft. clubhouse, full-service dining room, and fully stocked pro shop, Westchase offers a country club atmosphere along with first-class service. The golf club has established itself as one of Tampa Bay's best upscale golf facilities. The front nine meander through an impressive pine forest. The back nine -- which is demanding on the tee shot -- features lakes, wetlands and cypress. Strategically placed bunkers, more sparkling lakes and stands of cypress, oak, palmetto and pine frame the fairways and greens. Signature Hole No. 3, at 212 yards from the back tee, is all you can handle -- It's a Par 3 all-carry over water from the back tee!

Terrible Greens - Charging way too much
To pay $130 and have to play on those terrible greens feels like I've been ripped off. No putts roll true as there are bumps all throughout. The rates and condition of greens do not line up. This should be a $60-$70 course with how the greens are. Pace of play was slow too with no rangers on course.

We were a twosome and did not have to wait much al all. Very good!!!
A Great trac to play
Course is in top shape from tee to greens. Always a must play!!
Not A $130 Course Now
This course has a great layout and we play it every year on our annual trip to FL. Not again, at least until they fix the greens. The staff we encountered was friendly and helpful, especially Tory. How the management has the nerve to charge $130 to play on greens as bad as they are now is a mystery. We won’t be back until they fix the greens are at least puttable.
Good course overall and friendly staff
Greens are really bumpy right now but it’s playable. I’m from Ohio so bumpy greens are better than not playing this time of year. Fairways, tee boxes, and traps were in great shape and maintained. I really loved the layout and the pace in the morning moved along quick. I’d love to play this course when the greens are in top shape cause it would be a gem.
Poor Greens for $130
Not much else to say. Greens were really bumpy. Evidently due to a cold stretch before we arrived.
course is in great shape, greens were a little firm, but held most shots. Wish they putted better - really bumpy!

Amazing Course
This course has an amazing layout and well kept , so many other courses have terrible conditions , but Westchase is really incredible . I highly recommend it
Nice but overpriced for the quality of the greens
I have played Westchase a few times in the past. It has always been one of the nicer courses in the Tampa area. However I see that they are charging $130 and the green just aren't up to par. They are fairly fast but bumpy making short putts difficult. If you can play the course for about $60 its a good deal. They also have a fantastic replay rate.
Is nice
Someone screw up the chemicals on the greens so they are in a bit of rough shape, playable but the ball eill bounce when you putt, sjould be good in a couple of months other than that is in great shape.
Greens are in bad shape. Not small punch hole but large holes that effect your putts. Need to at least fill them in with sand. Not sure why they haven't inproved them from last year but are getting worse from year to year. It may be time to replace them for greens have a life to them.

Excellent course! Great condition, challenging layout. Everything was above average. Will definitely play here again.
