Westchase Golf Club

Early tee time on Sunday and course was full. Finished round in about 4hrs and told by pro shop that slow groups will be asked to speed up to keep pace. Course is in fantastic shape but is rather narrow with quite a bit of water but definitely manageable. This is a course I would play again without hesitation.

course in great shape. greens roll true and hold. bunkers consistent. bring lots of balls if you spray it off the tee.

Booked tee time on Golf Now for 11:15. I arrived at 10:15 and dropped bags at bag drop and went into clubhouse to check in. Told them I had an 11:15 and they said they did not have me. I showed them the GN reservation and he said "We cancelled our contract with GN and our systems don't sink so I don't have you down." He said he could get us out later. He totally had an attitude as though it was my problem and in no way, shape or form his problem. I could have stayed and taken the later tee time he offered but with the attitude he gave there was no chance he was getting a dime from me. There are too many courses in the area for that.

As a side note, the guys at the bag drop could not have been any nicer or more apologetic for the inside guy. Maybe they have the wrong guys in the wrong positions!

Really enjoyed my time on the course. Fabulous day but started getting blown out later in the afternoon. My first time on this course was very good and will come back again soon. The greens were relatively fast but had good success. The fairways were in good shape overall. The value was exceptional for this time of year. I played 6 over so I was very pleased overall.

Great course and excellent staff from the bag drop attendant to the starter! Challenging course and in great shape!

Course was in good condition, greens slow but true a most enjoyable layout with some difficult holes.

Staff very friendly

I've been wanting to play here because I heard so much about it, but I wasn't impressed. The staff was friendly, the course layout was ok, the greens, fairways and tee boxes were okay. I can't really say I was impressed with anything in particular about the course, then again I have nothing negative to say either. I live in the Ruskin area so now I know how the course is, I may never return. There are too many just as good courses closer.

I would highly recommend this course. The hospitality and surroundings were very exceptional. Booked another round for this Thursday.

This is the fifth time for us to play Westchase. We love everything about it, the setting is just beautiful. The course condition was superb, greens and fairways, but they had 1.5 inches of rain over night, so it was very wet in places. Cart path only was in place, but some of the fairways were so wet, every ball plugged.

Maybe the course should have been shut?

Beautiful course in wonderful condition from tee to green. Two concerns. Greens were unusually slow but ran true. Some concerns for the Lady golfer, 3 or 4 of the holes have a large swamp area (hazard) in front of the greens. Can be difficult for a beginner or even an intermediate player to carry the hazard.

At $75 fee, this course is in bad condition. All greens are slow and very grainy. Al least half have bad spots on them including large bald areas filed in with sand. Fairways seemed OK.

Their setup function for senior tees leaves a lot of room for improvement. Setting them on the same tees as the women, many at the exact same spot, shows they don't really care to take the time to set the course up in its best light.

I was told they were under their second new set off owns in the past 2-3 years. It shows. Hopefully the new owners will make this course better in the near future....

A nice course, liked the layout, will play again. Down side, need more yardage markings, especially to hazards from tees, advertised cart yardage computer but didn't have any.

Played here for first time. A very poor value as conditions are fair with bare spots on greens and fairways. Very narrow course . Not very forgiving. For the money there are better courses.

This course sets up well for senior golfers. Greens, fairways and traps were all manicured well. pace of play was under 4 hours for the round.....play if you get a chance

Not What I Expected. Looking at the reviews on line and reading the course bio I expected fast well manicured greens and fairways. That was not the case especially on the front 9. Also no GPS which I read they had. The back 9 was better than front. The course layout isn't bad just need to maintain the greens tee boxes and fairways. The price I felt was too much for course coniditions.Or maybe I need to lower my expectations of Florida golf courses. Should have driven to Myrtle Beach..

Perfect weather, course wasn't too crowded. Best shape I have seen the greens. Overall, perfect day.

Greens were under repair on about half the holes, this was during a tournament so affected scores. A very nice layout of holes which keeps course competitive. Priced higher than other local courses in area and not offered on Golfnow often. While fun to play, overpriced with so many other courses in great shape and cheaper.
