Westchase Golf Club

Great course. Fun to play and great layout. Plenty of trouble with water, trees and tight shots. Greens were nice. Some tee boxes rough but overall a great place to play for the money.

My first outing at Westchase and man, they set the bar high. The pro-shop is picturesque, the starter (George) couldn’t have been nicer, and the range for $6 is all on water! The course was beautiful, parts feel as though you’re in Jurassic Park, with thick woods and classic bridges. Greens were in great condition, tee boxes were sufficient, and the cart girls were cute. Can’t ask for more. My only complaint is nearly unavoidable, but the course was absolutely soaked. Everywhere. Again, it rained the day before, but I fear the draining system may not be up to snuff. I will definitely be back though!

Friendly staff. OK layout. Lots of water and wetlands in play, especially on the front. Several forced carries, too. Not for me. To make matters worse the course received 4" of rain the night before making the track a soggy mess. As you can imagine no roll and lots of plugged balls. Don't bother playing here if it has rained a lot. The greens were true, rolling around 8 to 9. I'm OK with that. Fast greens are no fun.

Enjoyed my round. Challenging course. Greens were punched 2 weeks ago and you can still see the marks. They rolled well, but speed was not consistant from green to green. Some tee boxes were cut nice and tighter than most courses which help with the numerous iron tee shots. Most tee boxes were fairly flat and not tilted like many other courses. Most holes are 380ish...kinda boring after a while. Good value with a coupon or hot deal.

Not my first time here but was my first time using golfnow. Greens we're punched probably two weeks ago I would say so they are a little slow but roll true. Course is in fantastic shape, still showing spring conditions so if you can handle the heat, it's a no brainer at these prices.

other than the greens just being punched this was a very nice golf course ,nice layout with fairly tight fairways made you think about each shot. Will definitely play this again

While not extremely long, this course demands you make solid tee shots and accurate approaches. While landing areas for tee shots (if you hit the right club) are fairly generous, errant shots can quickly find trouble. Wooded areas are thick, plenty of water also comes into play. Local knowledge a plus as you can't just take the driver to every par 4 or 5 and let it fly. You can score on this course if you're on target but it will cost you dearly if you're not. Tee boxes were good, fairways were excellent, and while the greens had been aerated that week, they still rolled pretty well. A very enjoyable round that was only marred by my own poor accuracy.

Golf Course more difficult than the slope rating. keep it in the Fairway. Fairways were excellent condition Greens very good overall appearance of the course was very good but stay out of the rough

Fun course. Not very long. Challenging tee shots. One of the better public courses in the area.

Early tee time on Sunday and course was full. Finished round in about 4hrs and told by pro shop that slow groups will be asked to speed up to keep pace. Course is in fantastic shape but is rather narrow with quite a bit of water but definitely manageable. This is a course I would play again without hesitation.

course in great shape. greens roll true and hold. bunkers consistent. bring lots of balls if you spray it off the tee.

Booked tee time on Golf Now for 11:15. I arrived at 10:15 and dropped bags at bag drop and went into clubhouse to check in. Told them I had an 11:15 and they said they did not have me. I showed them the GN reservation and he said "We cancelled our contract with GN and our systems don't sink so I don't have you down." He said he could get us out later. He totally had an attitude as though it was my problem and in no way, shape or form his problem. I could have stayed and taken the later tee time he offered but with the attitude he gave there was no chance he was getting a dime from me. There are too many courses in the area for that.

As a side note, the guys at the bag drop could not have been any nicer or more apologetic for the inside guy. Maybe they have the wrong guys in the wrong positions!

Really enjoyed my time on the course. Fabulous day but started getting blown out later in the afternoon. My first time on this course was very good and will come back again soon. The greens were relatively fast but had good success. The fairways were in good shape overall. The value was exceptional for this time of year. I played 6 over so I was very pleased overall.

Great course and excellent staff from the bag drop attendant to the starter! Challenging course and in great shape!

Course was in good condition, greens slow but true a most enjoyable layout with some difficult holes.
