About
Designed by Lloyd Clifton, Westchase winds through acres of lakes, conservation areas and forest. It offers manicured greens surrounded by natural wetlands, wooden bridges and bulkheads. With its 9,500 sq. ft. clubhouse, full-service dining room, and fully stocked pro shop, Westchase offers a country club atmosphere along with first-class service. The golf club has established itself as one of Tampa Bay's best upscale golf facilities. The front nine meander through an impressive pine forest. The back nine -- which is demanding on the tee shot -- features lakes, wetlands and cypress. Strategically placed bunkers, more sparkling lakes and stands of cypress, oak, palmetto and pine frame the fairways and greens. Signature Hole No. 3, at 212 yards from the back tee, is all you can handle -- It's a Par 3 all-carry over water from the back tee!

Nice course
Really liked the layout, only thing is the greens were in poor shape. Very bumpy with weeds.
Expect 5 hours to play
This course would be so much better if they had a player services Marshall making sure groups are keeping pace.
Great course
A great course. Great layout. Very challenging course. Played twice on a hot deal and will definitely play again.
Happy I played it
We caught a hot deal for $43. Well worth it. Challenging layout. The course recently had maintenance done. But the course was very playable. Greens didn't roll all that true. But not horrible. I didn't play well, but the other 3 playing partners did. Overall, a great day
Great Course!!
Friendliest course in Tampa. Rained for a few minutes and cooled off for a sec, course in in great shape, greens are starting to respond to punching a few weeks ago. Challenging course and one of the best in Tampa.
Bring extra balls
Great course even though they were flooded with rain the night before. However the course was in good shape. Greens were aerated a couple weeks ago and some of our putts were bouncing lol. Will go back for sure. Lost more balls than ever before. Lots of water and the course seems to play bigger than it actually is
Course seems to be a bit neglected for the price, lots of weeds growing in bunkers. Greens were in horrible shape, understanding they were recently aerated (Seems like two weeks ago) but they havent grown back much at all. My issue is no warning of aeration and charging full price. Wont be back.
Wish I could play here more often!
Really nice layout......lots of shots over water. I would like to have the lost ball franchise for the ponds. Strangely missing a set of tees at around 5500 yards. Greens rolled well despite they had just been punched. Brutally hot day but that is Florida in Summer.
I wish I could play here more often but it's too expensive for this retiree unless the price is reduced for Aeration.
Such A Nice Course
The course is in great shape. The greens had just been punched so they were slow & bumpy but I’d say in another week they’ll be amazing. And fast! Played it on a GolfNow hot deal so the price was excellent.
Great course
We really enjoyed this course. One of cooler layouts I’ve been played. Conditions were great. Pace of play was a little rushed, but it was a busy holiday weekend, so that was to be expected. Overall, fun experience, I’ll definitely be back here.
Pace of play
I knew greens were just punched so I expected that but after talking to starter my wife and I started feeling a little pressure to keep pace of play going. I must also say it was cart path only which makes playing a little harder than usual with club selection. Well we encountered a 3some of younger players who asked to play though because they knew the group in front of us. Well after 2 visits from cart girl these guys which turned into a group of 6 were driving on all the fairways and even got there cart stuck in the weeds. It was like a scene from animal house. Starter said he would be out making sure of pace of play we’ll never did see him and we finally at #16 just to leave what a joke and waste of money and a vacation day!
Great Course
Great course. Hope the rain helps it. Greens were aerated however course posted on website and had a reduced rate. Friendliest course in Tampa.
