About
Countryway Golf Club is an executive golf course that is known for its extremely affordable rates. Situated in the heart of Westchase, it is considered one of the best values in Tampa Bay. The layout consists of eleven par-3 holes and seven par 4s. The golf course is challenging enough for more advanced golfers but it is still player-friendly enough for beginners to enjoy. The rolling terrain provides undulations in both the greens and fairways. The hills also make for some challenging putts. There is no shortage of water at Countryway Golf Club with hazards coming into play on 14 holes. There are also bunkers strategically placed throughout.

Golfer Reviews
Should have asked for a rain check or refund but will never come back here in the future so no point anyway. Course itself is in mediocre condition for a short course community public course. But I should have known it was bad when there were three groups ahead of us prior to my start time. I went in as a solo with many slots available after mine that were free. Ended up getting combined since they were so backed up. I’m 1.5 hrs finished 5 holes. Ended up just leaving it was ridiculous. Was playing each hole twice since we had such a long wait time.
Secluded Nice Cource
Played this course for 2nd time, great value for $
If you need work on short game , this is the cource.
Nicely laid out par 3 and few par 4
Easy to get to from anywhere in Tampa or pinellas
Perfect for price
Big improvements this year. Tee boxes are all fully recovered.
Went downhill
Used to be a bit of a gem, a short course in decent enough condition to get some practice in for a couple bucks more than a bucket of balls at most ranges. As of today, the course is in terrible condition, fairways are patchy and the greens are in really rough shape with literal sod squares on most of them. To be fair to them, they do warn you of this when paying in the pro shop. Hoping they get things back in order soon but for now I’ll just stick to the range or pay a little more for a twilight rate elsewhere.
Extremely poor playing conditions!
The course was a disaster; sob patches, dirt, and dead grass every where. Way over crowded, waiting 5/10 mins to tee off at every hole. And the course design was the worse; tee boxes directly behind the previous greens leave players in line of shots at almost every hole.
Paid $30 and felt like I was ripped off
Showing wear
We love this place and the staff, but it is showing signs of being played alot and the weather (heat and no rain). Tee boxes and the fairways were in pretty rough conditions. The greens were in very good condition though.
