About
The golf course at the Western Skies Golf Club has a traditional layout with many different challenges and beautiful views. Surrounded by picturesque mountains and valleys, the course offers a taste of the countryside, which is further enhanced by the many aged Mesquite and Pinon trees sprinkled throughout. It features tree-lined fairways with generous landing areas and tricky water hazards. Two notable holes are the 4th and 7th holes, both par 3s. Although it is a modest 186 yards, the 4th hole requires a carry over water to a heavily bunkered green. Western Skies Golf Club's 18th hole is a drivable par four with water along the right side, making this an exciting finishing hole.

nice course and friendly staff
Nice course but a little rough around the edges.
Good pace of play compared to other az courses.
I could have done without the loud music around the clubhouse.

Pretty much a goat track
Greens in general were ok, but grainy and slow. Fairways are mix of grass and mud/dirt. If your going to take a divot it’s like tearing grass, with chunks of dirt/mud
If you miss a fairway I hope you like weeds and hard pan!
Good note the tunes they crank outside the pro shop was good, but not good enough to return to this poorly maintained course. The grass driving range is a joke, your better off hitting off Matts, it’s was mostly hard pan.
Great staff , fun course
I play approximately 75 different courses each calendar year. I can usually tell within the first 5 minutes at a property how the day will go. Walking into pro shop at WS I was greeted warmly and treated great by staff. Any questions were quickly and professionally answered. The course has nice layout, great greens and good pace of play. I will definitely play there again.
Average experience
A bit overpriced for what you get but overall a good experience. The greens were true and the course itself not overly challenging.
Decent course for the price
Course was in good condition. Not terribly difficult, which I did not mind coming from east coast and not having played for a while. Was very very wet but can't blame the course for that issue.
Easy to find. Excellent breakfast sandwich, although restaurant did not open until 10am
Nice course!
The staff could be a little friendlier. No bag drop. Good people on course. The course was in ok shape. Greens were nice. Rough was dirt and rocks; but it is a desert course. Pace was good!
Golfers Etiquette
I was ready for a great round until a man who we got paired with showed up in jeans and his butt crack out the entire round and talked about coke and steroids. He also showed up with no golf attire.
Fun day!
Got paired up with a couple of locals and we had a great day. Fairways and greens were good and staff were very friendly and helpful. The carts were good and we did round in 4 hours.
Patio after was great getting a look at the course and server was very friendly.
Was a good day and would return!
