The Club West Golf Club offers 18 holes on a Brian Whitcomb-designed golf course that was originally built in 1993 and measures 7,142 yards from the championship tees on a par-72 golf course.
Club West Golf Club claims the 17th as its signature hole. It features double-greens, tees elevated 100 feet above the course and vistas of South Mountain and of the Estrella Mountain Range; players ought to pick the green they desire and then check the yardage. If the wind isn't blowing you back, pick one less club than usual, aim right and swing smoothly.
After the round, head over to the Club West Golf Club's clubhouse, which is the gorgeous home of the Lakeside Grille, which serves breakfast and lunch inside the stunning dining room or on a spacious patio featuring a fireplace and lake view.

Poor condition
The course was in fair condition with the greens having problems and were super slow. I would not recommend this course as it is poorly maintained.
Great conditions
Course is very well conditioned with great greens. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Recommend low handicap better players to enjoy from the tips for best views and scenery.
Terrible shape..terrible value for the money.
This is a $35 dollar course they are charging $75 and up for. Carts are in bad shape, fairways sparse with grass, greens are rock hard. Much better courses in the area to play for the money!
It's ok and for $40 I would play again
Back 9 had some really cool holes but the front was plain. Course was in ok shape not that great. For a quick round and if you can play for $40 with a cart it's worth it. I wouldn't play it for more then that. Staff was really friendly
Great Course
We played sixteen courses this month, and of all of them this was the best. Challenging but didn't beat you up, greens and fairways in very good shape. Greens that you could actually hit and stick, views on the back nine were spectacular. Will play this one again when we return.
The course was firm, fast & in great shape
playing for the first time since the fall, I wanted to play the whites but the other guys ( who had played the course before) recommended the blues so away I went. The fairways being firm made the course play shorter than the 6500 yds & I actually broke 80. The views as I have come to expect in Arizona were great with # 17 a 2 green par 3 the most interesting hole. Pace of play was a little slow but with 80 & sunny weather, great company, cold beer ...not a biggie with me.
Club West Golf
I have played this course many times and love the layout. The views on the last few holes are great. I didn't think the course was in great as shape as in the past. It is still one of my favorites in the Valley. I would definitely play it again. If you haven't played it before, it is worth the drive.

Wonderful course! I have played it before and recommended it to my 3 friends who played with me on the 21st. They loved it and want to do it again!
Short grass on fairways
The grass on the fairways was cut extremely short and it was very hard to get under the ball. The bunkers were wet and packed hard.
More time waiting than playing this nice course.
This course's layout is more challenging and unique than any of the other Foothills Golf Group's courses. The overall condition of the course was excellent, but the greens were a bit bumpy.
The major issue was that there was no ranger to found to help with a couple of groups in front of us who were taking way too long to complete each hole. They were more concerned with goofing off, searching for lost balls and taking mulligan after mulligan. We were only able to complete 13 holes before it began to get dark.
I will definitely be back to play this course, but hope we can avoid a similar inconvenience next time around.

This was a fun course to play! Great shape and very forgiving for women. Would play again!
Very challenging course
First time playing this course and was pleased with the overall conditions. Didn't finish the last two holes due to daylight and the back nine being backed up but will plan on coming back soon.
Mountain view with excellent greens
Tees and greens were excellent although challenging to putt. Great elevation changes and a well designed course worth a look.
Interesting and Challenging Course
Course has a good variety of holes with some great scenery. Needs some maintenance especially "safety" maintenance on cart paths--some of the safety cables are broken. This would not be acceptable in a manufacturing environment. Safety, Safety, Safety!
good course layout with senic views
Played 16 holes in 4 3/4 hours. No marshal was seen. Course played extremely slow.
The course is in good condition, especially greens.
Of the four courses in the Foothills Golf Group this coursed is better cared for and in better conditon overall. The Foothills course was my favorite uintil today. Good Work on weeds, trimming etc.
tight lies
Nice course with a couple of scenic holes fairways are very tight lies and you get plenty of roll. worth the $60 rate. greens rolled pretty smooth.
Robert herschbach
This course is average at best.It was over priced comparing to local alternatives. Very little sand in the traps causing a unexpected bounce. The fairways were not kept up along with the greens. Some of the tee boxes were terrible.
Great views
Incredibly picturesque. I just wish I wasn't playing so late in the day. Very challenging.
