Great course layot, fairways and greens were good, a little scrubby on the edges.

Little rough around the edges but most are. For those who care about beverages we were visited 4 times.

Nice track. Fairways and greens pretty decent. Roughs and sand traps need help. Friendly staff and starter gave great advice. My wife and I enjoyed the course. Not close to Scottsdale but worth the drive. 😎

We love The Foothills course. Best value for money in East Valley. Troop is taking over management which will mark it even better (although a little more expensive but still worth it.

Started at 230pm and done in 3 hrs!

Nice layout set in desert mountains. Great pace of play …played in under 3.5 hours…course was in good shape…needs a few more yardage markers…

Courses in pretty good shape. Very challenging with the winds that day! Vacationing in Phoenix and didn’t know anything about it. Would play it again.

Decent conditions and layout. Some of the residential development is close to fairway landing areas.

First off I want to say that I’ve been playing this course for years. It’s a challenging course that’s a lot of fun to play from all the tea boxes. The problems I have with the course is that they pulled on all the ball washers during the pandemic, and never put them back, also the tee boxes haven’t been rolled in years and it can sometimes be impossible to find a level spot that isn’t tore up by late in the day. Also, I typically tee off around 3 and the last 3 times I’ve hit the turn, the starter shed is closed already! They should keep the starter shed open until the last group of the day is off the front nine.

Red course in great shape. Fairways easy to hit from and greens slower than normal. Will play course again.

However, our foursome was not allowed to get a cart for a disabled person who wanted to ride with his son. We were told there were no carts available- even though we saw several waiting by the starter on the red course ( even though we offered to pay). Thought this policy is very poor and does not represent fair treatment for disabled people). We were required to take turns walking a hole at a time or standing on the back of a cart). This was extremely hard getting to the red course from the clubhouse.

In addition, we saw no detour signs to the course due to road construction- poor.

Given all the above, we still enjoyed playing the course and recommend this course. Improvements in directions and policy would make it even better.

The course is in good condition. Tee boxes could use a little TLC; fairways were good; sand traps could use a little more sand; first-cut rough was OK, whereas balance was sparse in places; greens were firm and lush, however they were very slow. Pace was good (3:50), as was value. Combine all that with a beautiful spring day and it was a very good day, indeed.

Love this course. Forgiving layout and fun to play. Pace of play was surprisingly great. Played 18 in 3.5 hours. Only negative was the greens. Very slow and inconsistent speeds from green to green
