About
Foothills Golf Club offers 18 holes of golf on a golf course designed by Jay Morrish and Tom Weiskopf and built in 1988. The par-72 golf course measures 6,901 yards. Foothills Golf Club sits among the South Mountains, and features a contrast of challenge and forgiveness on a links-style course that allows golfers to play a target layout that has more than 65 bunkers that daunt, fairways that roll and desert that has a lot of rocks. The fabulous championship golf course provides the locale for all levels of golfer to shoot a memorable day of golf.
After taking in the views of the South Mountains on the Foothills Golf Club's golf course, head back to the clubhouse, for wonderful vistas of the course and the Estrella Mountain Range.

Great day on the course. Pro shop hours did not allow us to browse and purchase after our round. Would have been better to have known this prior to play. Course was in good condition overall. Would definitely return.
Nice track, needs work
Greens shaggy, painted, not a true roll.
Needs some TLC
Overpriced for course condition.
If you could play for $60 or less would be ok
Sad and tired
The pictures you show on your site certainly aren’t recent. The course is in pretty bed shape. At one time this must have been a beautiful course but it has sadly been let go. Greens are extremely bumpy .pace of play was very slow.
Won’t be back.
Needs some aesthetic work
Played here and it was less expensive than some other courses nearby. Fairway and greens were good, but outside of that, it’s a mess. Needs some new ownership and investment. It could be great.
Great Evening of Golf
The pro shop staff and cart girl were super friendly and nice.
The bag drop staff were busy and totally ignored me so I loaded and unloaded all of my own stuff, which was fine but it would have been nice to at least be acknowledged. They were awesome last time. Overall any day in the golf course is a good day.
Foothills Improving
I was impressed with course condition despite lots of rounds. Troon is planning upgrades and I hope they can do it without raising green fees too much.
Disappointed
Course conditions have deteriorated since playing in November 2022. Greens are lumpy and slower than normal. Fairways are showing neglect with lots of bare areas. Too bad I used to like playing this course but will likely be going elsewhere now.

Desert course
Fairways and greens in good shape. Many similar holes, nothing memorable. Pace was good price a bit higher than the course deserved. Would play again at a lesser price.

course was good the tee markers did not match the card
took us till the 10ht to realize that might want to let players know green are the tips yellow rock is mid and black rock is senior
