Camelback Golf Club - Ambiente Course

The course is fairly straight forward, yet provides a challenge.

You forget you are in AZ with the links style course. It's forgiving at times but you need to bear down and hit good shots.

very good golf course that is challenging and has a great layout. It's not the typical desert golf course more a links style feel. Would recommend the course to anyone.

A very nice golf course but don't miss the fairway. The rough is so penal that it is almost a sure lost ball if you miss the fairway. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

I did play in the middle of the summer so it was hot and the price was right at less than $40. Staff was great and the course was in great shape. The greens rolled well and were not too fast. I played back tees and it played long with the wind but I also got a lot of roll.
The club house was nice and staff friendly.

The beers were a little pricey but when it is 113 outside you ca charge $7 for a beer.

Overall excellent value for the course but again it is in the summer.

First time playing this course. Some undulating greens and punishing rough. Was over 110 degrees so got very slow on the last 5-6 holes as people in front of us tired in the heat. Would play again as local knowledge will help.

Every hole looks the same. Not much of a challenge.
Easy to lose balls in the native grasses.

I played this course for 1st time ,i am a 12-15 handicap.it was beautiful course but challenging narrow fairways and tough greens .great course for challenger the average golfer .It was a great experience though if u don't hit ball straight off tee it could be frustrating course .lot of out of bounds tall grass down middle of course on all 18 holes .S till would play again!

Links style course with lots of native areas bordering the holes. No trees to use as aiming points, but numerous bunkers. GPS on the golf carts are exceptional for giving distances to features on every hole. FIrst tee time out on a weekday. Got around in 2.25 hours! My favorite course to play in the Valley. Greens were pretty slow but held shots into the greens very well. Maintenance crews have to delay their start of preparing the course due to early morning noise restrictions by the surrounding neighborhoods. Personnel were very courteous and did not impede play.

Playing from the tips really made us use every club in the bag. Some of the longest par 3s I ever played. Fun links course. Can't wait to challenge the course again.

I play this course on a fairly regular basis and can highly recommend it to local golfers as well as guests visiting Scottsdale. The courses, two 18 hole, are always in great condition. The best attribute for this facility is the staff, very professional and always friendly. I can not compliment the staff enough in a brief review, but they are the main reason for us playing here at a regular basis.

Great course and a wonderful staff this is my favorite course. As a frequent player I am concerned about the way the holes are cut, I have played Ambiente at least 6 times this year with different levels of golfers and nobody can make putts. I don't know if it's because the holes aren't cut properly or that the greens are still very young, you can get the ball to the hole it just don't go in. I love this course.

The staff is friendly and the ranger was attentive. Great overall experience, love the new course.

A really picturesque and challenging course that I like to play when the weather heats up a little and the rates come down a little

This was our first time playing this course and we felt the new design and overall condition of the course was great. The wildflowers in the native grass areas gave a lot of color. We had a fun rime

Tough greens especially #16 play one tee box forward for an enjoyable and challenging round

First time playing the Ambiente. Layout is very friendly, wide fairways, bunkers place along far sides. Condition of course was excellent for 90plus degree temps. Greens were hard and fast, but putted very true. Pace of play was slightly slower due to players not adequate talent for the course.

Excellent condition but to long to play 4.45hres.

Everything about this round of golf was great! Greens to fairways were fun and challenging. Great shape and the pace of play was awesome! Totally playing again and telling everyone about it
