TPC Scottsdale - The Stadium Course

For a golfer like me playing where the pros play was a great experience. The fairways were in fantastic shape, the rough was high but all grass (absolutely no weeds or bare spots) and the greens were super fast. Even the desert areas were clean. Playing the 16th hole was awesome especially since the grandstand was still up. 80+ degrees and sunny all day made this a great and fun round of golf!

Not a killer beat you up course. Challenging, but fun to play.

The greens and fairways were not in prime condition.

I have heard a lot of positive things about this and the Stadium course but I was quite disappointed with the conditions. Specifically , the fairways were so bad that on 8 holes I had to reposition my ball to find some grass. I had played at four other courses in the greater Phoenix area which the fairways were all better. Now, with that aside, I enjoyed the course and found it challenging, especially the fairway and green side bunkers. The greens were true and quick, just what I expected. At the end of the round shared my concerns with the pros hop and was reasonably dealt with - great customer service.

Day after the Waste Management Phoenix Open we teed it up across the street from the big show. The course was in great shape and has a friendly staff.

huge disappointment for the money. At $80.00 for the round I felt I paid double what it was worth. At best the greens and fairways were of a moderate municipal course level. I suspect all the effort goes into the Stadium course.

Tee times were 45 minutes behind schedule. The staff was less than friendly, the fairways were horrible and the greens weren't much better. There are way too many other courses to choose from in Scottsdale.

The course was in very good condition and the price was very reasonable. For Scottsdale, the cost and quality of the course makes this one of the best-values around. Well worth it.

Place of play was very good. Fairways not so good however, they were much better when I played the course in late summer. Overall a challenging and interesting golf course

This is a great golf outing. Not only was the golf course in great shape but the entire staff were very helpful and friendly. We also enjoyed the practice area, the range, putting green and the chipping and practice sand trap were all in very good shape. We ate at the turn and the food was good and was reasonable. We will be back

We chose to play from the white tees, around 6,100 yds. However, the t-boxes were moved up on a number o holes which resulted in hitting through the fairway a number of times.

The course has great features. Excellent practice area. Staff very helpful and friendly. Greens were in good shape and had a true roll. Distance markers were easy to locate and accurate. Will play the couse again.

Our four caddy was beyond excellent. He made the experince of playing the golf course very memorable.

FUN AND FAIR GOLF COURSE. LOTS OF DIFFERENT HOLES WITH WATER, DESERT, AND TRAPS PRESENTING MANY CHALLENGES. FUN TO PLAY RIGHT BEFORE WM PHOENIX OPEN. FRIENDLY STAFF AND GREAT VALUE FOR DOLLAR. HOPE TO PLAY AGAIN SOMETIME. MOST GOLFERS ON COURSE WERE LOW TO MEDIUM HANDICAP, BUT STILL FAIR TO GOLFERS OF ALL ABILITY.

Played on a weekday, summer, Phoenix afternoon special. Other than the workers, saw maybe 6 other golfers the entire time. Played solo in 3 hours with no issues. Great layout and fun to play a PGA course. Shot a 76 and double bogeyed 18 but was nice to see how I could stack up on a pro big boy course from the tips. Only suggestion would be GPS on the carts or at least have yardage books (they were out when I played). Overall very satisfied,

I'm a big fan of all TPC courses. 15, 16, 17, 18 are a good finish! Great shape, good greens and nice staff! Go play!

I know that the TPC Scottsdale is not everyone's cup of tea. For me, it was a phenomenal experience to play this challenging layout. It's easy to look at it on TV and say how great the 16th hole is but the entire course is fantastic from your opening tee shot to coming back towards the clubhouse on 18. The staff in the clubhouse is phenomenal as well as on the course. If you can catch this course at the right price I would recommend it to anyone heading out to Arizona

It is great playing this course in late December, early January when they're getting it ready for the waste management open. Just stay out of the rough, it's a killer on the joints in your arms.

I always dream to play one of the TPC course . Our caddy (Troy) was very good and helpfull . It was worth every penny . I am a single digit (4) handicap and loved the layout , very simple and not tricky at all . Stay in the Fairway and you will score well . Everything I dream about . Outstanding staff from bag dropping to the pro shop staff .
