TPC Scottsdale - The Stadium Course

The course was in pristine condition, Greens were true and the views are beautiful

Staff is friendly but starting times were 20-30 minutes late and pace of play was painful...even for a Sunday afternoon. Course is generally in nice condition but it is very wide-open and just not that interesting. So many better courses in Scottsdale...especially for the $.

TPC more expensive then Boulders or Quintero, no where close to condition or layout of those courses.TPC not enough value for cost.

It would be good to see a little more marshalling.
Next time during overseeding we will call to see if it is
cart path only. If you have two people in a cart there is too
much going back and forth to the cart to get clubs, measuring
and such.
Price point should br reduced a little more at this time.

I play golf alot in Washington, AZ and Palm Desert. It would be
nice to see "cartpath only" on the golfnow website that I booked
this reservation.

Played on 10/12/12 got a rate of $89 on Golf Now and was well worth that, I do not think I would pay the standard rate of $139 to play it again, there are several other couses in the area I would play for that rate or a little more

Early morning tee time had very good pace of play, course was in very good shape, nice pace on the greens. With the green fee paid, range balls should be included.

Early morning tee time resulted in quite a bit of dew. Some groundskeepers seemed aloof to the golf going on around them, and did not clear for shots for prolonged times. Course was in wonderful shape, with well maintained greens. The excitement of being on a course which was well known from television exposure was enjoyable.

TPC is always in good shape. A little tough this time of year as with all PHX courses. If you like golf you will like this course

The course was in the worst condition of the 7 we played this trip. Rude construction workers made comments and laughed while golfers were playing. The staff was far from friendly and sent twosome after twosome out so a 4 some playing in less than 4 hours had to let 3 groups through. I sent an email to them over a month ago and never got a response. Was not worth the 45 paid and no where near the 200 they normally charge.

I have pictures of mushrooms growing on multiple holes. When I have played the TPC in the past, it was a great experience.... this was brutal!

Better than the carpet in my home this course is kept in as good a condition as any course I have ever played. Although the cost is a bit high, the conditions warrant the fee charged. It's like they cut each blade individually so that you get that special feeling. Very challenging back 9 with lots of water. Don't miss the plaque dedicated to Tiger Woods.

Great fun to play where the pro's play. A must for all PGA fans.

the fairways were incredible the staff was very friendly and the price was amazing. only problem was the work they were doing on the greens. the greens were in excellent condition in the middle but all around the perimeter of the green was being worked on and was unplayable. that was the reason for the great price and it hardly effected play at all so it was well worth it. had they not been under construction it would have been perfect. its impressive really, how they were able to get the construction done on the greens but still remain a top shape course. if i had the money i would go back and play the normal conditions but because its quite expensive i will likely wait for another deal such as this. i think every avid golfer should try and play this course at least once because the experience is unforgettable

Not only did I get a chance to play with three of my closest friends on one of the greatest courses in the Phoenix area, but also had the chance to play where the big dogs play. What a great experiance. Staff was outstanding

The course was in very good shape. The greens are very tough to read and fairly big. The weather was good, staff was friendly and cooperative. I played with three nice young guys - all in all a good experience.

I've seen the pros playing it every year on tv and have dreamt about playing the 16th hole. What a thrill to actually play it and imagine the 50k fans cheering and booing around the par 3, 16th. Loved it, loved the staff, and the guys I played with were a ball! Can't wait to do it again.

Some gimmick holes, but great shape, perfect greens, good customer service. Putting green was being renovated.

Summer special was a bargin and condition was best in years for this tome of year. Well worth the price.

Walking in the footsteps of giants is how I felt walking as I stepped onto the first tee. If you are not a regular player here then you have to play off of the back tee's. It makes the course long but if you want the full experience of playing where the greats have played then you have to play from the back. There are some very long par 4's which you will need to be hitting well to make the greens in 2. The 16th and 18th are both great holes which get a lot of TV airtime when the Phoenix Open is being played so savor the moments.
Can't fault the staff. All very friendly and helpful.
