Great fun seeing the Gators on the round.

The officials told us we were at a good pace, which was nice to hear—beautiful and well-kept fairways and greens. Complimentary water was also very welcome.

Great Course

This a great venue and could hold it's own with many of the courses charging over $125 per person. We paid $75 and you can occasionally find cheaper rates on Golf Now. Would highly recommend this course!

Best in Central Florida!

I play all over the Orlando area and Deer island is by far the most manicured and picturesque course to play. Every hole is an adventure and it is not an “easy” course depending on which tees that you play. The course is a drive to get to but well worth the trip. The popularity of the course has increased immensely, so if you are looking for a quick round, I would suggest an early am tee time.

Wonderful Course

We had a very enjoyable round at Deer Island. We were wondering if it's worth the one hour drive and we are very happy we did. It's a wonderful course, fairly open, with water hazards coming into play on every hole, but it's not as intimidating as it sounds. The course is surrounded by some very beautiful homes which are quite pleasing to the eye.

We didn't see any deer at Deer Island but we saw dozens of gators, sunning themselves everywhere. A more fitting name for this course will be Gator Island. The staff are friendly, courteous and helpful especially the starter. The greens are in great shape and not too fast. The fairways are well maintained in excellent shape. The tee boxes are nice and flat in great shape. There are a few clean washrooms between holes and surprisingly no ball washers. The pace of play was steady - our foursome finished in 4 hours 10 mins. Overall, we found this course to be of top quality and very enjoyable. It offer excellent value for money on GN hot deal. We will certainly play it again!
