Stallion Mountain Golf Club

While the course is in decent condition, it was 108 degrees in Las Vegas when we played and there is absolutely NO WATER to drink. We saw the cart person once at the 3rd hole and she simply said we can buy water but was not able to provide any without paying $5 a bottle. Never saw her again. I'll play elsewhere before coming back here.

The first time I played this course on August 8th I had a bad experience due to the pace of play being so slow that I didn't get to finish the round. I wrote a review describing my bad experience which was mostly pace of play. Management called my cell and apologized for my bad golf experience., and insured me that this was a one time thing and that would never happen again. He also explained that he took care of the problem. I played today and it was a 180 ° Turn Around from last time. A staff member met us in the parking lot and picked up our clubs. We started a few minutes early at about 6:20 a.m. the pace of play was less than 4 hours me and my regular golf partner was playing with two beginners and we could not keep up with that pace, so we switched our playing format to a scramble. The tee boxes were flat, level and plush with grass. I really love the tee boxes. The ball set up high on the fairways, really good lies. The greens were in great shape with no ball marks. The greens rolled true at about a medium speed. I still don't like hole number 10, it's a tough tee shot that's the only thing wrong with the course, but the other golfers with me like hole 10, it just may be my preference. The courses layout is pretty challenging. I like hitting the driver long, some of the tee shots are tricky, got to watch your alignment. The course has some nice views every now and then of the strip. The rough grass is unforgiving. Overall the course is in great shape it's fun to play and it's challenging. I had lunch after golf. I order the club sandwich, recommendation of the chef. it was excellent with the onion rings. The price for food and golf is very reasonable. I'll play here again. thank you management.

The fairways are in good shape the greens are in great shape. Ball rolls really smoothly. The pace of play was horrible. We quit on hole 14. Hole 10 has one of the worst layouts I've seen. The beverage cart person doesn’t take cash and is not personable. Won't play this course again. I left frustrated.

This course is in near immaculate conditions. The bunkers were maybe a little hard but not hitting out of concrete like a few other courses I’ve played recently. The only complaint I’d have is that I showed up a little early to hit some range balls. I was told multiple times they were running 10-12 minutes behind this morning. So I purchased a medium bucket of balls to go warm up and hit some practice balls. I only got through 4-5 balls before they were calling for me to head to the first tee box. So I wasted money on a practice bucket. All in all the course was nicely laid out and well maintained. They came around a few times to check on us which was nice. I’d definitely play here again!

I played this course again after taking a year long. Hiatus, from the last time,.. the conditions were, i'm not it's great for any part of the course for about a year. This course was in better shape, then it has been in a long time. I play a lot of the local courses, and this was about average for conditions. this time of year . Pace of play was quick.

Then again, it's a hundred and five degrees outside..

It's better but not as good as other courses for similar pricing. Greens are slow & hard. Didn't have to repair any divots. Some greens with sand repairs that affect puts & chips. Still plenty of brown & little grass on fairways.

Course is in nice shape sand traps groomed not hard like most vegas courses. Pace was good had very early tee time. Staff is friendly and helpful.

I have played stallion countless times. Up until 5 wells ago I would have given the course a 4/10. Now it’s plush and in great shape. Given a couple spots on 2 greens they are night and day from their old condition. The grounds staff has done a fantastic job bringing her back from oblivion. 4 months ago you had painted dirt for greens, now soft carpet. Greens are actually nice to play on.

Perfect Day of golf , greens were fast and firm. Will be back again soon.

Played here 3 times this week, the course is in great shape and they have solved the terrible greens problem from last spring. Heat has kept a lot of golfers away was ableto play solo in less than 3 hours in the afternoon. .

The staff was exceptional, and the course is in great condition for being in the middle of July in Las Vegas. Would definitely go back there again.

I've played the course dozens of times, conditions are always up and down. Fairways were perfect. The rough was actually grass higher than the fairway which helped stop the ball from rolling 30 yards into the desert like it's the case there in the past. Greens were soft and slow, looks like they were growing them out to cut and roll but they were in good shape. All around me and my friend were happily surprised at the conditions. Would definitely recommend that course for 65 bucks. Probably honestly the best conditions I've seen that course in since I moved here 8 years ago.

they seemed short staffed tee times were behind but overall way better than we expected for that side of town, I will be back.

I knew Stallion would come back, tough couple months but worth the wait. Course looks great and the greens are great now !!

Play this course often the greens are really bad. They need to fix bumpy and bard spots.

The driving range is now open on plush grass, greens are getting real good and once fully grown in they should be awesome, great lay out and staff super helpful
