Stallion Mountain Golf Club

My buddy and I are locals and love to play Stallion Mountain! It’s a challenging layout and a well maintained course at a reasonable cost. The staff are always super helpful and very friendly! A really nice dude typically greats us and loads up our bags right off top. The staff inside gets us squared away quickly and the range area is great for warming up! I’m not the biggest fan of the mats so it’s awesome when the grass is open on the range for practice! The Marshalls are nice too and make sure your round gets started without issue. If it’s running behind, they’ll let you know. Lastly but not least, the Cart Girls Ashley and Maddie, mix some serious and spicy Bloody Mary’s! They’re super kind and easy on the eyes! ;) After the round we’ll grab a beer and a bite to eat too. I highly recommend you patronize this establishment! You won’t be disappointed!

From last time i played this course to now (1yr), it has deteriorated dramatically. Course fairway are so bad that I witness someone breaking two clubs by trying to hit lob shots. Very hard and no glass just bad weeds. The greens were spongy and very bumpy. Seems like the holes on the greens were smaller than I've seen anywhere else too. Need a lot of work! Pace was fair.

Love the layout, but charging $69.00 for residents when the greens are black from mold or some other fungus isn't a good business practice. For the conditions of the course right now, the resident rate should be down to $45.00.

I have played this course consistently over the past few years. It’s been a pleasure overall as you can see from my rating. Only 1 issue, the bunkers are rock hard gravel pits, precisely. Why in the world mgmt doesn’t repair and get to standard is beyond me. I do suggest a round to enjoy the scenery, layout, and employees are fantastic!

Staffers, friendly price was good, but that can’t make up for the terrible green conditions. If there wasn’t green fertilizer sprayed, there would be no green there at all. Everything was hard as a rock even the greens. But it really made me upset. Was they had too many people playing on the course at once I had to wait at least five minutes between every shot I took. I’ve never wanted to leave a golf game early until this day. Having that many people lined up back to back shows me they care more about their profit than me having a good time.

I hate to make this review because the staff is really nice and welcoming but the course has seen better days the fairways resemble hay stacks with how rough it is, and the smell around the area is rough. Pace of play is good because no one plays this course so I guess give and take.

This course has a great lay out for any level player. Pace of play is good. Grooming and care of course needs attention! Need to water course during winter months instead of painting the course. Greens need better care. People playing course need to fix their divets when they make one. Great course though.

I have been here over 50 times in the last 3 years. Ownership changed in the last year. Since then the pace of play has been terrible, staff is short with everyone when asked why we cant tee off because they ran out of carts. When we finally got our cart 23min after expected tee time it ran out of battery at hole 9. We were not able to finish our round....

I will not be returning and the audacity they have to charge the price before 1pm js ridiculous. Do better.

Excellent course for mid handicap golfers. Nice open fairways and excellent greens. Will definitely play here again if I come back to Las Vegas.

I confirmed tee times for two groups - 9:12 for two and 9:21 for three people. We showed up for the tee times accordingly and the starter stated that my reserved times do not exist, indicating that he spoke to me about cancellations for both times.

I showed him the “Golf Now” app with confirmed reservations and he said that he didn’t know what happened. I told him that I never spoke with him or anyone else and that I only cancelled one player at 9:12 through the “Golf Now” app.

Instead of the scheduled 9:12 and 9:21 tee times we ended up starting one hour later. The only explanation could be that my tee times were given away to accommodate a preferential treatment, leaving my group to wait and impacting plans for the remainder of the day.
