Stallion Mountain Golf Club
About
Stallion Mountain Golf Club is conveniently situated just minutes from the Strip, but this Las Vegas golf course feels much further away thanks to a scenic landscape of towering, mature pines and six sparkling lakes. Over the years the course has hosted several major events including Frank Sinatra's Celebrity Classic and Las Vegas Invitational. It has a versatile layout that offers plenty of variety and shot values, which makes it appealing for a range of different skill levels. The par 4s and par 5s require long, accurate drives but the approach shots will test your iron game. The golf course also features undulating fairways lined with bunkers and water hazards come into play on 10 holes. In addition to the golf course, Stallion Mountain boasts a comprehensive practice facility that includes a 16-acre driving range with 40 tees, five practice putting greens, two chipping greens, and two practice bunkers.

Golfer Reviews
Nice Simple Track; Great Greens
First off, the staff was excellent; Friendly and attentive.
My first experience at this track. Amazing POP given it was Friday before SB. Held up by a couple of 4-somes; clocked in @ under 4.
While winter has been hard on some of the fairways, the greens were very well kept; especially since this is a neighborhood and not a big resort course. Only a couple showed bumpiness; the rest were very fast and true.
Had a great time!
Nice layout
This course would be 5/5 stars if the fairways were better. They were quit dry and in need of some water. The greens were nice tho and the aprons well groomed. Staff are all great from the pro shop to the starter to the lady at the bar.
Bob
Very slow play. Group ahead were playing two ball. Behind us, balls were hit three times over our heads.
No Marshalls were on the course.
Nice lyout
Great staff awesome course wonderful playing partners
Not a Giod Winter Course
Winter conditions not good. Fairways had little grass making it difficult to get under the ball. Too expensive under these conditions Love the layout and has been in good condition in the past in fall and spring. Stay away in winter unless they lower price to $40 or less.
great course for the price
It was my first time playing here. I was late for my tee time due to my uber driver missing the exit, twice, and they got me out on the back 9 ahead of everyone else. They were extremely hospitable and allowed me to keep a suitcase in the clubhouse while I golfed. The pace of play was amazing (when i got to the front and joined others) and the course was in good condition. I will certainly be returning here to play, it was a great overall experience.
Need much better care and maintenance etc
About 2.5 stars here...
Terribly long wait for breakfast and was close to being late for tee time start. I arrived early too. Eggs hard when asked for not hard. No time to be fixed, not even close.
Course conditions are so super dry and beat up. Greens very patchy. Wouldn't matter as much if they didn't charge 61 US for club rentals! New record anywhere. That is almost 100 cdn! Consider plz 35 US to rent! Already pd the green fees! Major money grab.
Plus cig butts thrown by other idiot players just left on course in many spots.
Saving graces were friendly pro shop staff and this roadrunner who took to me and hung around me for quite awhile. He felt safe!
And I scored very well surprisingly not knowing course at all from Canada.
Was so slow too!! Surprised I focused so well today.
Dessert golf
How refreshing to play dessert golf for a couple from Florida! Stallion mountain was just the course to get that feeling. We were lucky to play with a member who was full of knowledge about the history of the course , Larry
Needs help
I have played here a total of 3 times over the last year. I will start with the good. If you are from out of town and staying on strip it is about 7 miles straight East on flamingo. Staff very friendly. Showed up early and they let me go about 30 minutes early. Had a beverage cart on the course. Now the bad, driving range is a sand box. There isn't a blade of grass to hit off of. Invest in mats if you aren't going to have any grass. The course itself appears it hasn't seen sprinkler water in forever. I know it hasn't rained in months but sprinkler water would help. No green fairways. Hard packed dirt or super short brown grass are your fairway lies. Sand traps had sand. Greens very spongy and shaggy. Glad I got a hot deal. There are many other courses to choose from when in the area. Spend another $20 and play a green golf course. I have played all the courses in the area and unfortunately this one would rank in the bottom third for condition.
Don’t go here
The course was in poor condition. The range had no grass on the hitting area. In fact there was uneven ground where they had not fixed all the ball strikes.
The course has a great layout. Although the fairways were painted. The dead grass was all over your clothes and cart and equipment. I will have to say people at this course don’t fix their divots. The greens were full of them.
I would not recommend this course at this time. The green fee was high and for course conditions it should be around $40.00
Pathetic Conditions
The driving range you are literally hitting off of dirt. The course is not much better. A dust cloud following every cart. Walking on the so called grass, seems like you are breaking the blades off with every step. There is just no grass. Greens haven’t been cared for in days. Not a single rake on the course. What was absolutely amazing was that one of the very nice staff, asked us to please leave a review. We mentioned that it would be nice to play on some grass, and his response was, it’s winter in Las Vegas. Please have your whole staff go to Paiute, Rhodes Ranch, or Chimera. They’re in beautiful shape for January.
