Stallion Mountain Golf Club

Being out of town, I called to see if they were plugging greens. They said no, but are trying to get them in shape with treatments and said they would probably be ok in 2 weeks. That was a total lie. The greens were completely damaged due to neglect. They are damaged beyond repair and need to close the course, spend a half a million on the greens and re-open. I have never played a course in this bad of shape.

Had a great time but got rained out at 9th hole. Did not get a rain check. Was told to call the general manager. Greens were in terrible condition so we had to play thec2 putt rule.

The track was beautiful! Fairaways were not terrible, but greens were very bad. They were 2 putt greens, dead spots and very bumpy.

When I arrived at the course, the staff greeted me and kindly helped carry my bags. The starter was also very friendly and warmly suggested that I could begin whenever I was ready. One disappointing aspect, however, was the condition of the greens—many areas were missing grass.

The course fairways, tee boxes and traps were fine. Not the greatest but great value for the money. The greens were the worst I’ve seen in years. Big holes in green, dirt, weeds, not one single green was puttable. Ball bounced all over the place. Huge spits of nothing but holes, dirt. They need ALOT of work. Some were unputtable.

I really like this course layout, it challenges you. The staff were amazing, great food in the clubhouse. The greens need some work.

39 years of playing golf and the worst course I’ve ever seen.

At 129 per player off Golf Now this was a rip off. We did complain about the conditions, and they refunded us one tee time out of three. They believe the greens would be better in three weeks or so, but I doubt it.

This is a tough course to play, greens are tough to read and fast at the edges. Don’t hit by the water, ball will roll in!

The course had a nice layout; however, the conditions were poor. Especially the greens.

The course conditions were terrible. The greens are unplayable and dead in most places. You should be ashamed of yourself for charging people to play here. I won’t be back.

This course 04/23/2025 is nothing more than a Goat Farm. The staff are very friendly and the course layout is nice, but no grass anywhere and the greens are absolutely the worst I have ever played on and I'm 68.definetly wait to play this course.

Fellow golfers…please read this before you book this course. Do not pay the price they ask for the conditions. Greens are absolutely horrible. Golf now should relive this course unless a disclaimer is given warning golfers of conditions.
