About
Stallion Mountain Golf Club is conveniently situated just minutes from the Strip, but this Las Vegas golf course feels much further away thanks to a scenic landscape of towering, mature pines and six sparkling lakes. Over the years the course has hosted several major events including Frank Sinatra's Celebrity Classic and Las Vegas Invitational. It has a versatile layout that offers plenty of variety and shot values, which makes it appealing for a range of different skill levels. The par 4s and par 5s require long, accurate drives but the approach shots will test your iron game. The golf course also features undulating fairways lined with bunkers and water hazards come into play on 10 holes. In addition to the golf course, Stallion Mountain boasts a comprehensive practice facility that includes a 16-acre driving range with 40 tees, five practice putting greens, two chipping greens, and two practice bunkers.

Not in Good Shape
The course is all Bermuda. The fairways were dry and it was like hitting off dirt everywhere. Not worth $100.
Great Place To Play!!!
I had a wonderful time playing this course. Great environment and I got paired up with a couple of regulars and they were very welcoming.

Disappointed
Ice course but in poor condition, fairways very dry, greens were dried out . Should been $50 to play over priced .

Good layout, poor condition
The fairways need a lot of work. Hardly any grass. Enjoyed the layout and played in 3 1/2 hours which was great. Would not return unless the course conditions improve.

Nice Course Considering Water Restrictions
This course is nice but the water shortage has not allowed them to water. Fairways and greens are very dry and very fast. Staff is great. Carts seem new. I’ve gilded here for several years and overall it’s a good course.

Was turf replacement all over the place which was mainly dormant.. Distance between holes is lengthy in some cases.. practice facility is in poor condition as we’re some greens.

Water Water Water
This course needs to be water a lot, greens were ok but the fairways and tees were dry and sprayed green to make the course look green.

Don’t expect much playing here
Will never play here again. Conditions were beyond terrible. Charged 65$ to play on spray painted dead grass, including on the greens!

Ok
The course was playable. Grass on greens were dry and brittle. Looked like very little irrigation period. The staff was friendly. Not unhappy that I played on my trip just wanted to give an honest review to temper expectations.

Stallion mountain is making a good comeback
Sand has been replaced, greens were in really good shape.
Fairways were green sides were brown but that’s golfing in February in the desert
