About
Stallion Mountain Golf Club is conveniently situated just minutes from the Strip, but this Las Vegas golf course feels much further away thanks to a scenic landscape of towering, mature pines and six sparkling lakes. Over the years the course has hosted several major events including Frank Sinatra's Celebrity Classic and Las Vegas Invitational. It has a versatile layout that offers plenty of variety and shot values, which makes it appealing for a range of different skill levels. The par 4s and par 5s require long, accurate drives but the approach shots will test your iron game. The golf course also features undulating fairways lined with bunkers and water hazards come into play on 10 holes. In addition to the golf course, Stallion Mountain boasts a comprehensive practice facility that includes a 16-acre driving range with 40 tees, five practice putting greens, two chipping greens, and two practice bunkers.

Grass colored with pigments
I had high hopes. Everyone told me it’s a beautiful course, the holes were challenging. But the grass and greens were rock solid. Grass was colored with a pigment. Was not an enjoyable experience.
NIce course
Really liked the course for the layout and fast greens. Great pace of play had to wait a few times but there was only 2 of us and foursomes in front. Had a few tricky pin placements right next to drop off toward front of greens. Didn't want to miss. Played pretty good there. Met a PGA pro that was teaching an up and comer highschooler she shot 3 under. Perfect day no wind.

I've played this course a couple of times. They have done a lot of things over the past year to improve the course, I was very impressed. The bunkers last year weren't playable, and this year they were great. Very impressed!

I read a previous review that said that they had put a million dollars into the course. Maybe they should have put another million or two.... I hadnt heard good things about it, but based on the review, decided to try. WHAT A HUGE MISTAKE. The course was in the poorest shape I have ever seen a course. The t-boxes were uneven, fairways were loaded with divots (they didnt put any sand in our cart....so couldnt repair). After the first hole, I knew I had made a big mistake. The golf carts were new -- so those were nice. Staff was very friendly and the pro shop had a very nice selection. Other than that --- absolutely one of the worst courses I have ever played. Will not be returning.

Really Bad
Showed up for my 11:30 tee time, when over to starter who said they had booked a group of 3 in my slot. The group of 3 showed up with 4 and they allowed them to go off leaving me with no slot. There no openings between that time and 12:30 which is really the latest you can tee off and expect to finish. Very frustrating. I will not return there to play. Too many other courses just as good or better with good customer focus.

Very nice for fifty bucks.
It's a nice course with a very nice club house and bar/lounge area. Driving range, pitching green and putting green were nice and in good shape. Course is well marked however, they do not have any ball washers on the course. Overall it was great for the fifty-two bucks I paid for the round
