Stallion Mountain Golf Club

Had friends from out of town and was looking for challenging courses at reasonable prices. Stallion turned out to be a good choice! Course could use some more attention, but I'm sure that's all courses in this unusual year.

A fun, challenging layout, conditions continue to improve.

Staff is great, layout is a great mix of lengths, rolling fairways, target par 3’s to swing away 5’s. Right amount of water, bunkers show themselves, but don’t overwhelm your day.

Greens could improve, patchy in some spots, fairways are short in places, but the value and fun is here at Stallion Mountain.

I recently rated this course and said I would not recommend it. I went back gave it another chance and it was fine. 3 to 4 star Golf Course staff were great.

Dog track, horrible range, horrible chipping green, horrible practice putting greens.

Fairway were very rough, terrible lies. Most greens were 40% without grass.

Outrageous green fees (north of $100) for that patch of dirt. Looks like it was built 30 years ago as part of a planned community. Pro shop was very poorly stocked. They charged for a bucket of range balls, unbelievable. Haven't put a dollar in maintaining the course. Old and beat up.

Never Never ever play there!!!!

The staff was kind, professional, and just plain fun to talk to. Sarge, Adam, and Lexi get two thumbs up. No issues with pace of play. The course just had a few spots that they need to clean up, but it’s my understanding It has been improving greatly recently and it will continue to keep improving. The greens were consistent, would play there again.

The staff were great. Very good Range and putting area. The marshal was excellent. The only real downside of the course was the greens. They were slow and bumpy and very inconsistent. If they got that sorted out, it would be just a fine place to play.

Course layout was fun. Greens need work but noticed they are trying to improve for the price it’s decent enough. Cart person was great.

This was a fun and challenging course. Unfortunately, some of the greens are in pretty rough shape. But we enjoyed our round anyway. Staff and Carla were very pleasant. We got it on a GolfNow hot deal, so it was well worth the money.

I generally like this course

Good price (for locals), and its been night and day compared to what I was a year ago, but this last round was less than ideal. The send groups out pretty stacked, so it wasnt surprising to hear they were 15 minutes behind already at 0900. We weren't in a rush, so no big deal, and they had the wardens out trying to help speed up the pace. The bigger problem was the greens. Really bad lately. The grass obviously has some kind of mold/disease issue at the moment and it makes putting an adventure to say the least. Few spots on the fairways were super waterlogged as well. Not sure if those issues correlate. Still had a fun time and everyone from the wardens to the shop staff and cart girl were great.

Was a nice and friendly staff helpful and kind. Pace of play was slow but to be expected. Will be back next year!!!!

Very convenient course in town. Bargain Price for a morning tee time in Vegas area. Greens and some fairways a little rough, but overall a nice course.

Course was in good shape and enjoyed my time there.

The course was good and although fully booked the pace of pay was very good. The course did not have water coolers to fill your water bottles and the cart gal parked in the shade on the 1st and 18th tee area which was not very helpful.

I read reviews on this course before signing my local foursome up. Nothing like the reviews. Not worth $69 plus range balls. Greens are in very rough shape. Fairways are half grass half bare dirt. Great layout. Too bad this isn't in better shape. We are "One and done" with Stallion this year unfortunately.

Overall, I give it a very good golfing experience and a good review. Nothing to complain about.
