TPC Las Vegas
About
TPC Las Vegas (formerly known as The Tournament Players Club at The Canyons) is Vegas' premier PGA Tour facility, making it a popular destination for professional players and casual golfers alike. The golf course enjoys a scenic backdrop provided by Red Rock Canyon, with views stretching past the surrounding mountains to the Las Vegas skyline. Lush greens contrast the rugged desert landscape of arroyos and barrancas. This challenging layout will test the shot-making skills of even the most seasoned players. The deceptively sloped greens can be difficult but the fairways are somewhat wide and give a little room for error. The back nine presents a particularly formidable test. It is difficult to pick out a signature hole, but the par-4 13th, nicknamed "Death Valley" is memorable for being one of the best risk-reward opportunities on the golf course.

HMMMMMMMMM
KIND OF IN THE MIST OF IRRIGATING, DIDNT KNOW IT, WOULD NOT OF PLAYED. EITHER COURSES FAULT OR GOLFNOW. BUT IT WAS NOT PRETTY. PUTTS ZIGZAGGING AT THE HOLES. SOME FAIRWAYS AND ROUGH STILL HAD HOLES. OTHERWISE THE COURSE PROBABLY WHEN ALL IN GOOD SHAPE WOULD BE A GREAT COURSE.
Fantastic condition
Impeccably conditioned greens, best I have played west of the Mississippi. This course plays much longer than the yardage on the scorecard. Must keep the tee ball in play. My favorite course in Vegas!
Conditions awful
Course had been aerated several weeks ago but the course fairways still had major holes in them and several green showed the aeration.
But the worst thing were the bunkers. Hard (like concrete and rocky - small gravel pits). Actually risked ruining clubs in bunkers or worse hurting oneself in them. I've never played a course that had bunkers this rocky and hard.
Course itself is moderately interesting but conditions just overwhelm one.
Got a cookie from the bar area and ended up spitting it out and throwing up because it was so old and bad.
Great Course
We played 18 holes, and found the course to be challenging, and in excellent condition. The staff was friendly and attentive.
VERY Challenging but fun!!
Definitely play within your means. Started with the Blues and moved down to the Whites after 2 holes. Fastest greens in Las Vegas nothing sticks. Amazing customer service and great pace of play. There was a threesome in front and behind us from the start and we still managed to play under 4 hours. Prob saw the cart girl 4 times at least. Got a hot deal via GN for $50 (if you find rates around this price... lock it in quick). Ask about their replay deal... some staff member mentioned if you play again in the next 7 days it's only $40! Guess where I'll be Friday afternoon.
Great course
I have to say for my first time at tpc summerlin I was very impressed with the quality of the course and the staff. I was also impressed with the ice makers and water dispensers around the course. I will tell people about this course and I will be back again.
Great Golf Experience
Second time to play TPC LV , staff was great , excellent value on Golf Now , played over the July 4th holiday and course was wide open , temperature was fine , had some cloud cover so not too hot. Plenty of water on the course and saw cart girl 3-4 times while playing. Challenging desert course but fair , greens were quick , some of the bunkers were rock hard others were fine , great views of the mountains and the Strip from the course. Will play again .
Bring a Lot of Balls this course is a Monster!
I really enjoyed the experience of the view of the course but hated playing it. I would suggest that the course should be played by Handicap 12 and below even off the forward tees. If you are not a straight hitter this is not a course for you (as I found out). Beautifully kept and visually spectacular and probably something you should do once. The rough is rock and more rock. Good Luck for those that dare.
Awesome conditions!
TPC Las Vegas is a must play if you're in town. The course was in phenomenal shape, with gorgeous views or the desert mountains. The only bummer was the windy conditions, upwards of 40-50 mph, which made play interesting, but that's at no fault of the course. Top notch facility, staff and conditions, I will absolutely play again.
GREAT COURSE and EXPERIENCE
Totally AMAZING and FUN Course!! Bring your A+ GAME for SURE or it'll hand you your ___...lol
Great Experience
I had a great time playing this course. Even thought the greens had been punched, they were isn good shape and still putted well. The staff was great and Joe the starter was great to talk to. I highly recommend you play this course while in Vegas.
Excellent Course!!
Beautiful course! Looking forward to playing it again on my next trip to Vegas!
Great conditions and helpful friendly staff
Had an early time trying to beat the Vegas heat. Everything was on time and we breezed through the round. Conditions were tour like. Course is demanding but fair with 4 different tees to choose.
AMAZING!!!
TPC Las Vegas will be my go to course every time I go to LV. The conditions were emmaculate, staff very professional, every shot felt pure off the fairways.
Excellent place to play
The course was in perfect condition, weather was amazing and staff friendly. I will definitely play here again when I come back next month. If I had only one dislike it would be the difference between playing the whites compared to the blues. I will play the blues next time to enjoy the course playing nearly 1,000 yards longer and slightly more difficult.
great course
Have been wanting to play this course for a long time and I wasn't disappointed. Pace of play was great. Conditions of course were excellent and was able to play to my ability. Will return.
A Vegas Must Play Course
From the welcome arrival at TPC Vegas, through the departure from the friendly and competent bag drop area , the golfer is treated like a valued high roller is at one of the strip casinos. I played around noon after booking a fantastic tee time and price on Golfnow.com. I arrived about 15 minutes before my tee time. I walked into the pro shop, they asked my my name, I was immediately handed an already filled out receipt, and off I went in my loaded up golf cart. After a few range balls showed the ball flight I would be fighting that day, my name was called, and the pleasant marshall introduced me to my playing partners, a pair of repeat customers from Canada ( who loved it so much they were playing it 3 days in a row, instead of trying other tracks per original plan). They each hit fantastic long drives off the first tee, and I knew we were in for a great day. The course was immaculate. The greens were beautiful, speedy and true. The layout is fantastic, very fair, yet as challenging and demanding as one wants depending on skill level and tee box. There are amazing views of the surrounding mountains and the Strip from many holes. There are numerous birdie opportunities, and plenty where a missed shot is like rolling snake eyes. By the time I finished my round, I was lamenting that I had non-golf plans for the next day, as I would have accepted the invitation to play with the Canadians again. I strongly recommend this fine course and experience to golfers of all levels. 8 handicap avid golfer.
pLay it if you can
This course is nothing but fun to play. Played on a day when the wind was gusting into the 30s and that usually takes away from my enjoyment, but the weather conditions did nothing to take away from the day. In fact went out for a second 18 after lunch, which I normally would never do with such high winds. If you are ever in Vegas and get a chance to play here.......Do it.
Call Before You Book
All greens were freshly sanded. Why keep this a secret?Nothing on Golfnow or TPC website. When checking in,there was no mention of it.To top it off,I was not informed by the pro shop or starter.Very disappointing to travel across country only to burn green fees on a course that charges so much to play on sanded greens.A simple sign on the counter would at least give you the opportunity to go play elsewhere.TPC?/I don't know what all the fuss is about. Here I come Paiute.....
Pushed into 5some
We were a 3some. Was not impressed with a Marshall telling us to pick up the pace when there was no one behind that we could see. However, we did, which pushed us right into a 5some. The 5some was kind enough to let us through, however, it was very inconvenient them and us. If you are that worried about pace, maybe you allow 5somes out on the course.
