Great replication of a number of memorable holes on The Open ROTA. Course had the feel of a Scottish links layout.

Sure was great to get out and enjoy a great game of golf on a fabulous course. Thank to everyone evolved for doing such a great job!!!

Don’t understand the reasons people dislike this course, played it on 3/11 and it was in excellent condition. Parts of the fairway might have been painted but I had a hard time telling. Layout was stunning as were the views and it was a bit challenging, staff was beyond friendly and helpful and the clubhouse is amazing. High handicap or low you’ll enjoy your round. I would give it 4.5 stars but the app only let me apply 4.

Must play a few times to get a feel. It would be nice if the carts at GPS or hand out free yardage books. Fire away and hope there’s not pot bunker.

Definitely need to play multiple times to figure out lines off the tee and pot hole bunkering.

It was super windy not unlike the old holes across the Atlantic.

Set-up for this course is really unique and challenging. One of the best courses I have ever played.

From the time we walked in the door couldn't have asked for a better experience. We booked the "No Baggage" tee time which included rental clubs. I am left handed so always a little skeptical on what I'll get but the Callaway Epic driver/woods and Rogue irons were in great condition. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Starter was kind enough to start us on #7 to get out in front of 2 slower groups and ended up playing the round in about 3 hours. Understanding it is a links style course staying true to those conditions the course was in good condition for time of year, firm fairways and receptive greens. Saw a marshal multiple times and kept the pace moving. Will recommend to friends and be back myself.

Title says it all. Course Itself is just wonderful to play. . Each hole has a "book" by the tee Box That explains a little bit of golf history. Regarding The whole you're about to play. . Pretty cool. The greens were wonderful. Conditions in general where excellent. The staff was even better. Pro shop and starter-top notch. We saved 5k $ playing this course. Dont have to go to Scotland now.

One sore spot. Never saw a course marshall! He was sorely needed. A foursome two groups ahead were holding everyone up. As usual ego got in the way. These guys were playing the tips and taking at least four shots to get to the green. As a first time player, the starter recomended the ruby tees. I did and had a good round.

Well groomed, excellent staff, challenging, enjoyable for any level of golfer.

Very nice staff, course is in very good condition, nice lay out , we were enjoyed so much. After 18 holes, we played second round in 2 and half hours, enjoyed. We will be back definitely. Thanks

They pride themselves on being traditional, I don’t and would have cherished a GPS to know where all the bunkers are. Greens would good course good condition as well. Not for but I would imagine it is for many

Great staff

Links style with well placed pot bunkers. Placement is key...pot bunkers slowly cost you a stroke+distance every time.

Very fun & forgiving course with bonus views of the Las Vegas strip. Considering winter conditions the course is in good shape, Fairways firm, the Greens also firm and rolling true. Employees were friendly and cordial. The restaurant was closed that day, but they did have a beverage cart. The pace of play was great!

This course I wanted to play last year but played elsewhere and finally made it here today. The staff was very friendly. I am not sure on course conditions where I think this is a great time to play but seemed like the green fairways were painted with green paint to keep the look of being nice. I am not sure if that is a normal thing for this course to mimic historical holes but it was odd. The grass was different from what I played on before. Very narrow course. I skipped two holes and it was so slow it still took 4 1/2 hrs. There was no ranger to keep the play moving. Course etiquettes was not in mind with other players. Was hit on three times and I shot a 83 giving myself bogies on the missed holes. I would try it again to see if it’s the same but the hardest was to play slower then paint dry and etiquettes of other players. I give honest feedback always.

This course is going downhill! The starter was rude to us. The grass was completely dead and painted green to fool the ignorant. They only have 3 pin positions that they don’t even fill in with real grass, leaving an uneven putting surface. After our round Curtis, the cart attendant, threw away a half full beer and a Gatorade without asking if I was finished, I wasn’t! Golf somewhere else this course isn’t worth it anymore!

We decided on this course because the reviews said the course was in good condition.

Im not sure why, but they lied. Maybe it's staff writing the reviews?

Every single fairway was painted. Every single one.

Only 3 tee boxes have live grass.

It was a fun course to play, but you should know...

If we'd have known, we would have chosen differently, that's all.

My first links course and I loved it. First week of January and the fairways, and greens were in excellent shape. Was at the course early and had several minutes to chat with some of the staff and they were all very pleasant and cheerful.

Beautiful course and a great value for local golfers. However, pace of play was very slow due to groups in front of us who made five trips to the beer cart.
