Royal Links Golf Club

I played in the afternoon as a single and had a blast. I was able to race around and finished in less than 2.5 hours for 18 holes. The layout was a lot of fun and I had a great experience. Definitely worth the value and would play here again.

The staff was friendly and efficient. The starter let me start on the back nine so that I could finish faster. Course was fun to play.

A relatively quiet day I played as a single so the pace of play was perfect. Hard to judge the authenticity of the reproductions of the famous links courses as I have only played a few of the originals. The Royal Troon "Postage Stamp" and Old Couse "Road Hole" were fun and true. Read in the local paper that Walters Golf was in the process of selling the course. Conditioning confirms this.

This course is incredible! There are some great courses in Vegas, but none are closer to the strip than Bali Hai and offer world class golf with an awesome background. Well worth the price, and a must play for any Vegas trip.

I got a hot deal so I was happy overall but if I'd paid 200 like some I'd be a bit upset. There are many positives. To start I have never had my car valeted and the outside services people were outstanding. Pace of play was 3.5 hours with a 1pm tee time. I loved the themes on each hole, designed to replicate various British open holes. The 100 plus traps came into play way too often which was some lack of course knowledge and some lack of skill. My only complaint with the traps was some of them lacked upkeep which would be forgivable if it wasn't a ttop $$ course. If money isn't an object or you get a hot deal then I'd rate this a "must play.". Not a course for beginners and personally even if it was more affordable I'm not sure I'd play it too often, but I would play it again. Greens were fully recovered from overseeing by mid October.

We had a member of our foursome need to fly home early. Course still charged us for him (despite trying to cancel as soon as we knew).

With so many options available, I don't think this course is the right choice in Vegas. Too expensive and no flexibility.

Will it play again

The customer service that the staff had from start to finish is something I will talk about forever. The course was in excellent condition, if we didn't have 20+ mph wind it would've been perfect.

I have lived in Vegas for a little over two years, this course was always on my "need to get to that course" list. When I arrived the bag attendant was friendly and quick, good start. I went in to pay for my round and they told me it was going to be 20% more than what I booked it for. I informed them that I would leave if that was the case. After 5 minutes this issue somehow was resolved. I found out later that the gentleman I was paired with (a tourist) was also charged more than he was told over the phone (they told him 150 then charged him 200). When I pulled up to the first tee, I was planning on playing alone because I needed to play a quick round then get to work, the starter (Paul) called me back and told me I wouldn't be able to play alone. When I told him my situation he still said it wasn't possible and that they have a "no play through" policy so if I caught up to a group in front of me I would be "stuck anyway"...I'm calling bull on that one. He was rude and unrelenting, I waited around 15 minutes for my playing partner during which time I never saw another group on hole one or two. I would have loved to finish my round but had to leave early because of the delays (thanks Paul). Course condition and layout were great!

If you see a good rate at this course, book it!

we cant wait to play again

Got a great deal on Golf Now but the tee time was 11:00 so it was a rather warm round of golf. Not much wind the day I played. Played the gold tees so there were a couple of par fours that were too long for me to reach in 2. I am not a long hitter. Most of the holes were reachable. On many of the holes the bunkers are not visible from the tee. That is where the free booklet helps out for club selection. The postage stamp and road hole were the most memorable holes. My shot went just right of the scoreboard on the road hole and still made the edge of the fairway. The left bunker on the postage stamp is impressive. Steps are installed to get in and out. There were a lot o menacing bunkers all over the course and they all seemed to be well taken care of. Luckily I only ended up in one. My playing partner got in a bad one and took 3 or 4 shots to get out. The last one was away from the hole. Everything about the course was impressive including the friendly and helpful staff. If you are in the area this should be one of the courses to play.

This course is always fun. Playing replica holes of British Open roda is enjoyable. In July you expect the temp to be over 100 degrees, which it was. The greens need some work. The course is in very good shape for the heat. The staff is absolutley fantastic. Was disappointed that the beverage cart quit around 4pm. I would definitely play here again

I played on an extremely hot afternoon (110). I am not complaining about the heat (Just mentioning it) because I played for only $60.00. That was a steal. The course was fun and different from the courses I usually play. It was challenging with many bunkers. The book they provide was helpful in figuring out where hit the ball because many of the problems were blind from the tee box. I thoroughly enjoyed my round and will absolutely play it again. Next time however, I will play during peak season so I can walk the course.

Unfortunately I was only able to play 6 holes. I had flown into Vegas that morning and became dehydrated in the 100+ temps despite drinking lots of water before and while playing. The six holes I played were in excellent condition, fairways and greens firm and fast. The staff was excellent, friendly and professional. I had a breakfast sandwich at the bar and it was delicious. The bartender, Nacho, was very friendly and took good care of me.

Course was in great shape for being 113 degrees.

Friendly and helpful stuff. Son and I had a great time.

Challenging but score-able. Truly a fabulous experience from staff to the condition of the course.

Like the Tour 18 courses, or other tribute courses, you get a glance at the Open's famous holes. Don't pass up the Postage Stamp challenge, you just need to hit the green....sounds easy. Not too far from the Strip, don't pass this up when you're in Vegas.

All the holes are "similar" to those from past British Opens

I've played many of those in UK/Scotland and Royal Links is close but lacks the character of the original group

Nonetheless, great track and challenging

This course was a bit dissaoointing, but it's close to the strip. The greens were not as good.
