The Club at Sunrise

Being new to golf, I was happy to find out that I was able to play by myself and with hardly anyone on the course in front or behind me... probably most likely because it 108 degrees with a tee time of 12:30. LOL. But, overall, I liked the course because the fairways were narrow, which really forced me to focus on hitting off the tee boxes as straight as I could, and the the tee boxes and the greens were unbelievable!

Course was good for the money had a few cart path only holes but greens were all great

Being in the middle of the desert average heat over 100 degrees for only 35 bucks for 18 holes, cart included with gps, and food ordering through the cart can’t complain much. Bathrooms in two separate holes clearly marked. Negative get ready to lose balls if you shoot right. The trash is from all the wind we get, they are cleaning it daily but a herculean task.

While I understand the dilemma and difficult situation the runoff ditch provides, the course is like playing at the dump. There is trash lining the ENTIRE right side of the course. Not sure who would be responsible for cleaning it up, city or course, but something needs to be done. That said, the course was in decent condition.

Clubhouse was new, nice and clean and the staff were friendly

The rest of the course looked like a prison course, sorry to say.

Way overpriced for what it was (4.1 on Google??!)

Trash all over the course. Small ravines of filled with garbage. Extremely disappointed as the pictures online depict a beautiful well maintained course. Fairways and area surrounding green are also in poor condition.

Course was fantastic. First time and won’t be last. Fairway and greens were great. Only downside was maintenance people were working.

We will play The Club at Sunrise again.

The greens are perfect, and repairs on the fairways are going very well!

In fairness, I understand that there was weather conditions that contributed to the less than desirable course conditions. I believe that the price should be adjusted accordingly, and the customers should be forewarned so that they are not so dissatisfied/ disappointed as we were.

Staff is friendly and very competent, the GREENS ARE IN REALLY GREAT CONDITION, cudos to the superintendent and staff!! They are also doing very good patchwork replacing the rough parts of the fairways. We played Stallion Mountain last week the greens at Stallion were really horrible, it should be illegal for Stallion Mountain to be open and stealing people's money for such horrible 'no-grass' greens! The greens at The Club at Sunrise are amazingly good!

One bad point tho, the middle-aged man mowing the rough around the 10th hole ran over my golf ball and took a big gash out of my ball, he backed up, went around my ball again, then drove off as if nothing happened! I guess he doesn't like customers that help pay his salary.

We will be happy to play The Club at Sunrise again soon!!

Too many homeless, gun shots nearby, marijuana and sewer smells.
