Golf Summerlin - Highland Falls Course

beautiful , well maintained

We were in town for a golf week (July 1-8), I know it's hot but that's ok. This was the 3rd round in 3 days as we purchased a value pack $89 all you can play voucher through Summerlin Golf. Other course are Palm Valley and Eagle Crest (which is an executive par 60#. Tee off was early on Monday July 4 and admittedly it was slow #a 5 hour round as we were behind an annual 4th of July outing that had 8 4-somes#, but that was okay as were paired with a local couple #great guy and gal) and we enjoyed their company as much as anything. Course was in great shape, challenging and very picturesque. Through a pretty neighbourhood in Summerlin....wonderful homes. I highly recommend this course and the sister Palm Valley...play both as they are similar however this one will be more challenging.

Only issue, range was closed as they were redeveloping and improving it...range privileges were offered at the sister course only 5 minutes away...not an issue.

Located in the middle of many high profile courses, I found this jem by accident. I was impressed by the quality of the course and the speed of the greens. The staff was even more impressive with their friendliness and service. This will surely be one of my stops in future trips.

For visitor from CA this is nice course to play for value of yo money.

We really enjoyed the layout and all around design. I would play here repeatedly.

Nice golf course.Few minutes away from the house.The course is going up hill play.

The course is in good condition. Most of the holes are fairly easy tee to green, but the greens are very tricky and make this a very interesting and challenging course. Not to mention that the views of Vegas some of the holes are unmatched. Great value for the money!

First time played. Nice layout, good pace of play. However, tee boxes had not been mowed and greens were like concrete. Many shots hit the green and simply bounced over. Rather frustrating.

One of my favorites in vegas! it is both challenging and simplicic at the same time, from any tee box, not too long or short. great for any skill level. A lot of holes have bowl shaped fairways that will bring slightly errant shots back in play, really helps those of us who are not so accurate feel good about things and have a better time out there. One thing to remember is this course is up on hill and all putts will break towards the strip, i know your saying ya no-duh but believe me its more severe than your thinking, uphill putts can be real fast and vice versa, if you see a foot break on a side hill it may just be straight, the sooner you buy into this the better your round will be! Bottom line is I've played most courses here and this one still remains at least in my top 3! Everone I've brought to play it falls in love, and can't wait to get back there and see what they can really do now that after 18 holes they finally believe in the rules of putting here, sounds easy but it's really hard to get your mind to buy into just how affected your putts will be!

I played this course for the first time on my last visit to Las Vegas. The course exceeded my expectations. I am will definitely play the course again on my next trip.

No yardage book showing the holes. Some holes were challenging cause didn't know the layout. Not good for 1st timers.

Didn't see any cart lady out there? Bring your own drinks!

The course was manageable for a golfer who has intermediate level experience. Course was well maintain and worth the cost. Enjoyed the day!

Enjoyed this track, greens were in pretty good shape, a few dry patches but overall the course was nice. Had a nice day, fantastic views near the end of the day

Greens good condition and lots of variety of pin positions. Played course two days in a row. Totally enjoyed layout and condition. Look forward to playing it on my next visit to Vegas.

Nice layout and not too crowded on a Sunday morning. Greens were punched recently, but still ran true with good speed. Fair amount of water holes and bunkers; none of the hazards are located in blind spots. Excellent rental clubs (Callaway). Lots of elevation changes overlooking the Vegas valley.

We were very pleased at the course conditions and the course layout. Really had a great time.

Nice course. Played in 40 mile an hour wind which is common in the spring.

I paid for a round of golf thru GolfNow to play this course on Saturday. I played around 1:45, yes I do understand it's a little later in the day, but when I showed up to the course, I found out that there was a SNGA Amateur Tournament being held. Last group teed off at 1pm. The issue I'm gonna try and get thru here is when you have a golf tournament on a weekend, you should start the tournament earlier than 9:00am, and the course should have a time for when the last group should be teed off. It shouldn't take 4 hours for to get groups teed off for a tournament... If they have that many players in the tournament then it should be SHOTGUN start, not everyone tees off at hole 1. I can usually get thru a round of golf in 4 hours, and yesterday it took me(a single) to only get 9 holes in, and it took 3 hours... Tournament Host and Course Managemnt know the Pace Of Play policy and should have been enforced. But other than the pace of play rate, my time at the course was good, course is taken care of real well, the layout is awesome, and the staff were really friendly..

Course is in GREAT shape. Greens near perfect . Very friendly staff. I would play again next time I'm in Las Vegas.

Had a shotgun start because of Superbowl, worked out great everyone played at good pace. Weather and course were excellent . Local and first time played. will be back.
