View from the top

I picked the course for a fun get away and it was better than expected. The description said that the course was at 3400 feet and the sweep of the valley and the view of the city was amazing. This means that the course follows the rise and fall of the foot hills of the Spring Mountain range but it was challenging but not punishing.

I would go again to play next time I am in Vegas.

Okay Day

The course had or is about to be over seeded. The greens were bumpy and very slow. I wish I would have known the condition before I got to golf course. I will play again when the conditions are better. September/October golf is difficult in Las Vegas area because of over seeding even if you call the pro shop prior to play they will not tell you the TRUE conditions.

Beautiful views, fun for all skill levels

Got great prices during September. The course was in excellent condition with exception to a few minor blemishes on 2 or 3 greens and tee boxes, but fairways were surprisingly green and soft despite 100+ degree weather. The course plays a bit longer due to many holes which are uphill. Hole layouts are visually pleasing and locations of hazards offer a reasonable risk/reward balance. My handicap is 10-12 and my buddies were 25-30. We all had fun. Incredible value - will definitely play this next time I'm in Vegas.

Nice moderate golf course.

This is a real nice course - not too challenging but not too easy. It has some great views of the city and mountains. It is usually in very good shape although in late summer it can be a little dried out - but not real bad. It has lots of sand bunkers and some water. I like to play the course every time in am in LV. The finishing hole is a short par 4 but has a tight driving area. Many friendly local residents play the course.

Great course, beautiful view

Played this course with a great group of guys. They averaged 46 years my senior each but I had a great time. They have me pointers and shared their wisdom of how to play the game!

Great time

I haven't played Highland Falls in a few years and I really don't know why. Great price, great conditions, friendly staff and some of the best views in Vegas. Already made my tee time for next week to play again.

Greens

The greens are in bad shape, they just aerated the greens so they are a little rough

New to Vegas

The only problem was that the greens were punched. But that's our bad timing not theirs. Outside of that the staff and course were great. When you get to the back 9 have your phone/camera ready for some amazing pics of the strip .

highland falls

Beautiful course, nice layout and great views of the valley. With heavy rains the day before, there were heavy spots and lots of debris on the course. Some greens were fast, some were pocky. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Nice Course but no YARDAGE in Fairway

This was a nice course the only problem is there is no GPS and the only yard markers are the 100,150 and the 200 if you can find it thats it. No other ways to know your yardage. Makes a difference for my game but other then that it was a nice course.

overall great course

One of my favorite courses to play I think only downfall is when it's 110 outside it would be nice to have some place to get a drink a water on the course. Maybe a cooler every 4-5 holes would be great. But overall great course great views.

exceotional round

Highland Falls is one of the best rounds i have had overall. The fairways were well maintained. The greens were suprisingly forgiving, especially considering the heat we get in vegas! Starting at 9:30 am on a Sunday, and playing 18 holes we came across only 2 other groups, you can't ask for much better, especially for the low rate. The only downside was that the beverage cart only came around one time, early in the round. Overall, a great play, with some of the best views in the city.

Scenic beauty is the dominant feature

June/2014 - we had to deal with 20+ mph winds and recently-aerated greens. Temp was in the mid-90s, a treat for this time of year in Vegas.

Even with these conditions, I scored right around normal (12 handicap). One reason - many of the fairways are funneled to the center, and landing zones are mostly generous. Even from the tips (6500 yds), this course is manageable, and higher handicaps should be comfortable moving forward one tee box.

A nice track with great views of the Valley

The practice facility is adequate and the practice green very well portrays those on the course. The multiple tees make this one enjoyable for all. This was my second round there in as many visits to Las Vegas and I will play it again !

Course is in pretty goood shape considering heat! lol
Excellent mountain and city views on almost every hole. Good value for out of towners as we pay more than locals.
