Golden Bear Golf Club at Indigo Run

Over five hours. Skipped the last two holes. The ruff was like they were hosting the open. Love the course but waiting on every shot is agonizing.

This was my second time playing there this week. Was so good the first time I had to come back. For the price, I can't find a better place. The condition of the course was great, the staff was excellent and the layout was much better that other courses nearby that are in GB's price range. This is my new "go to" course.

Excellent course but not cheap. On the other hand, better value for a high quality course on the island. I would play this course again rather than other island courses which are even more expensive.

The Golden best course was in excellent shape and is very enjoyable to play. The layout will challenge the better players from the back tees but is very playable for the high handicapper. My only knock on the course is that the rough length causes the ball to be difficult to find, contributing to the pace of play issue. Lowering the rough by an inch would speed up play without significantly affecting the shot.

Played as a single, I was paired with very nice people. Highly recommend this course. Will play again.

My t time was 208 pm, for some reason the people I was to join left early. Turned out for the better for me. While I didn't get there last name, Nick, his wife Michelle and their son Thomas made it a very enjoyable round. My experience with this club was also more enjoyable than the first time I played back in May.

staff was nice, course good shape, sand traps had grave in some of them, only issues was 5-some playing in front of us for about 9 hole then they split up prob cause they saw ranger coming..Played 6 courses during visit and enjoyed this one.

First cut of rough was Bermuda grass cut at 4-5 inches. Ball would sit down in the thick rough and was very hard to find. Lost at least 5 balls due to this as we would give up looking in order not to slow play. That would be my only complaint. All in all a very nice but challenging course.

I’ve played here before and like I remembered, it was a nice course. Great layout, conditions were good, and staff friendliness couldn’t be beat.

Pace was slow, with a 5 hour round waiting several times for groups ahead of us, so perhaps marshals can get on top of this.

Only real complaint is the rough. Your ball can roll 1 yard in and you may never see it again. I’m not sure what kind of grass it is (4” deep and wirey), but unless you’re looking straight down on it, your ball is near impossible to see. That’s not the designer’s intention and a little rough maintenance could go a long way. Balls shouldn’t be lost that easily.
