Golden Bear Golf Club at Indigo Run

We were warned beforehand that the course had just been reseeded and there were a number of holes that were just coming back with new grass. However, it did little to impact our enjoyment of the course! And although I had a terrible round, I thought the layout was fair and very enjoyable. We will definitely play here again!

When you will not let carts on the course due to over seeding you really need to reduce the rate to reflect that. I was appalled that we only found out when paying (not when we booked) that the course was cart path only due to over seeding. Shameful of the course and shameful of Golf Now. Very disappointing.

Enjoyed our round but the pace of play was really slow. While part of that was the foursome in front of us, having the course as cart paths only due to over-seeding was an added drag. Greens were in good shape and rolled true.

We will be back, when the course is not CPO.

Better price than other Hilton Head courses and in about the same condition. Friendly staff and ranger kept checking pace. Pace a little slow but cart path only prevented additional speed.

Nice layout, greens were good, fairways and tee boxes were poor….. just over seeded so cart path only. Slow found partially due to cart path only.

I thought the course was in decent shape but lacked character. They should incorporate some elevation in some of the greens and tee boxes. A lot of the holes were similar in their play, flat with dog leg right or left. I think it is due for some upgrade.

The staff was excellent, very friendly and helpful.

Very fun experience, would not hesitate to play this course again! Very nice layout with some challenging holes, yet very fair!

The staff was friendly and helpful. We originally booked a time online but after calling the course the day of our tee time we were able to reschedule with no problem. The only drawback was the cart path only rule; it’s not a course you can walk; too much distance between holes so the back and forth from cart to ball is less than ideal.

The course was recently overseeded and being heavily watered. Therefore, we were cart path only. That's the only bad news. It was a beautiful fall day with a brisk wind. The course was in excellent condition and the staff at the course were friendly and helpful. Great course for the money!

Fairways had been over seeded so it was cart path only. No problem except the rough was up and unforgiving so lots of time lost looking for balls that should be in plain site. Recommend the course cut down the rough to increase pace of play when cart path only, especially with times only 8 minutes apart. Without a Marshall, no incentive for slow foursomes to pick up the pace. Greens in great shape as were most fairways..Friendly staff at clubhouse but on your own once you begin play.
