Oyster Reef Golf Course

Staff was perfect. Vibe is casual. Layout is very playable. Greens were slow and uneventful - balls hopped more than a few times!

The course was completely booked on a beautiful Saturday following a stormy week. Was told at check-in that tee times were backed up 30 minutes. Lucky we were walking and didn’t have to wait that long because there were no carts so we got to go ahead. No carts? You’ve got to be kidding. Don’t book the rounds if you don’t have the carts! The course was in good condition but the grass on the greens was long and slow. Round took a bit over 4-1/2 hours and that was with playing through 2 groups. Overall I’d say they had poor course management for the amount of players. Maybe it’s better when it’s not so booked?

Course was a nice layout with a good amount of water and sand traps. Tight in spots to make you think about your shots. Greens were crazy slow, only bad part

It was a windy November day. Greens were somewhat inconsistent; some slower some faster. Otherwise a fun course with pretty views. Plenty challenging for a hacker like me. Almost no wait time and a really great value.

Beautiful course some of the greens were a little shaggy, but we enjoyed the round!

I played this course two days in a row. And while the greens had been cut they were still scraggly The layout is so good still worth playing. Just be prepared to be disappointed by the greens

Very good course that is challenging but fair. Well maintained and a very helpful snd friendly staff.

There were no carts when we got there for a 11:24 tee time.

Several groups milling around waiting for carts. Once that finally got straightened out greens were in terrible shape.

Worst greens I have seen in 10 years. Grass on greens was long, and thick. Like putting on a Berber carpet.

Stay away.

I have played oyster reef many times. This time the greens were being grown out and maybe we’re running about an 8 on the stimp and that is being generous. The fairways were running faster. Kind of put a damper on the round. Played again the onext day and they had been cut a little but still very very very slow. But such a great layout still worth playing if tyou can get a deal time but only on a deal time

No carts available for golfers starting at 10:45 or later until early players came off course making it very hard to warm up.

Assigned practice area was entirely down to dirt, although there were other levels with grass that could have been opened up.

No practice putting green due to overseeding. Really?

Course greens were furry and slow. Oh, 18th green was cut as we walked off at 3:35. Come on!!!

Still a fun cpurse gto play. Challemge fron bue tees. Ive seen greens in better shape

All greens not in good condition, sod not even with green surface. Too expensive for all the greens under repair.

Took 3 guests from out of town. Called and asked if the greens were aerated or any other problems. They said everything was in good shape. The putting green is closed. All the greens on the front 9 look like a quilt with a multishaped large patchwork and probably a negative number on the stimp meter. Not a windy day and garbage all over the greens. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Very playable for seniors with a nice mix of water and other hazards. Greens were a little slow and one must play the course a couple of more times to learn them. Overall though a fun experience with a very welcoming staff.
