Nice course …..in very good shape…..greens nice for this time of year…….lots of bunkers…..bring your sand wedge!……Sand was very nice

Of course fairways a bit thin this type of year, but traps and greens very nice. Layout as challenging as challenging as you choose from well positioned tee choices.

My first time in Hilton Head, quick stopover on way to Florida. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful with course instructions. They also paired me up with another single (who knew the course) which was very thoughtful and made for a great round.

All the courses on the island looked great, but definitely can’t go wrong at Oyster Reef.

Cindy was working the beverage cart when we played there. She made the best blood Mary I’ve ever had, let alone on a golf course. Make sure to get one if you play here.

One of my favorites at Hilton Head Island. The pace of play was good and the weather perfect even as we were there end of December. The tavern at the end of the game was very nice, sunny and with an happy hour selection worth staying.

This is a nice course. Greens were in great shape. The fairways were 6-10. Very sparse and sandy. Bunker sand was a bit inconsistent as well.

This course has postage stamp size greens and many doglegs. It’s a strange layout, I didn’t care for all the layout. Hitting 5 iron on a par 5 makes no sense. Many par 4s where you must hit 190 to dog leg. Overall good condition greens are fast. But they do not overseed the fairways for winter. Expect tight lies and dormant grass.

I was surprised that they do not winter overseed the fairways. For the price they defiantly should. Or better yet let us know that you don’t. I play AZ and FL in the winter and the higher end courses always overseed. If you don’t mind tight lies and dormant grass it’s all good. Sand traps are great and the greens are good. 9th green is not usable and they have a flag pole in the fairway. Probable a good course in the summer or spring.

Absolutely beautiful course! It had a hole that had a view of the ocean! Super cool! Lots of sand traps! I had a great time! Staff was great!

Awesome staff, friendly and knowledgeable! Nice course layout and in good condition for November time frame. Reasonable green fees. Great experience!

I appears that they did not water the fairways during the growing season. They had recently top dressed most fairways and there was very little grass. The greens were not in great shape with a lot of areas not cut. One par five had a temporary green with no notification at all.

I was disappointed, especially after paying the rate I did.

Very nice course in good setting. The design has an overabundance of log leg features which got a little old after a few.

Beautiful course. Great condition. Nice patio and restaurant.
