Royal St. Augustine Golf and Country Club

Fun course to play, it’s challenging with some tight fairways and lots of water. If you are one to not consistently hit the fairway , bring extra balls !

I’d say the course was only ok., the greens had quite a bit of crab grass. The Starter needs a attitude adjustment !!! He was extremely rude!

First of all it's August in Florida. Every course is going to be wet. This course definitely had some casual hazards but overall drained well. Interesting and fairly difficult layout. Only real downfall was the crab grass on the green.

greens could use some TLC, but this course was very enjoyable to play. one of the best courses for the value in Flagler county.

Challenging course. Conditions pretty good overall, greens were slower than normal for what I’m use to but very makeable. Some crab grass out there that can misdirect longer putts. They had a junior tournament occurring that was slowing down the course overall but on a Sunday late morning is this something to be patient with. Amenities aren’t the strongest but I came for the golf. Overall, a strong 4 out of 5 experience.

I don’t review too many courses, but I wanted to hopefully spare some people from throwing money away on this dog track. It was one of the worst rounds of my life and I’ve played all over the world. The course is a convoluted mess. It was in poor condition, there was a mix of locals and ornery residents and a few tourists. Driving around trying to find the holes was a nightmare. Dinky golf shop, decent front desk guy, but when i lost my Scotty Cameron head cover, they weren’t helpful at all about - i don’t know - keeping an eye out for it maybe? No one seems to repair ball marks, part of the course is literally washed out and under water. Just a mess.

Not a bad course. First one I have played in Florida. I hope the Greens get better. Overall the course was good. The putting greens were in bad shape.

I would not recommend this course to anyone with a handicap great than 18. Drives need to be tight and iron play perfect, very difficult.

My brother and I played the course on Monday.

The greens need serious attention.

We were matched up with 2 other seniors who were very friendly and enjoyable to play the round with.

Will return when the greens are in better shape.

I enjoyed a day of golf at this golf course. The staff and starter provided great customer service and the golfers on the course were supportive.

Still a fun round. This course will CHALLANGE you and yet you will still have a lot of fun. Mid handicapper changed it up by playing the white tees and had a blast.

Course was in bad condition. Weeds all over and areas haven’t been mowed in a while. I haven’t seen it like this prior. I would guess they must be short staff for for sometime.

I hope they can find a way to recover.

Course really has a great layout.

Green would be ok but we’re just punch - which needs to be done and not holding that against them.
