The Senator Course at Shula's Golf Club

Too many people squeezed onto the course. A Saturday afternoon and there would be three foursomes waiting to tee off on a single hole.

This course has been slowly deteriorating from its one time must play status. However, we were pleasantly surprised to see it looking pretty good. The greens were outstanding! Fairways were a bit rough. It was a great value round for $35 at 7am.

The course was in great shape. Especially the greens. The staff was friendly and organized.

For some reason I really enjoy playing the Senator course because it really tests every aspect of your game from the short game, to your Driving distance and even your putting skills. The seventh hole is a Par 5 with an island green which really tests the big sticks in your bag. And when you make the turn get ready to step up your game because there's more water back there than fairways. This course is really fun to play.

Got a great deal, under $40 for a 10am time with range balls included. Got there early and was ready by 9:55 to tee off. 4 times ahead of us were backed up as they scheduled too many slots. We didn't tee till almost 11 and finished by 3:30. It was a long day, getting there at 9am. It gets you out of rhythm having to wait for every shot. I expected better, as we really haven't had many problems in the past. The course was in good shape though and the pins were tough which made it a good mental test.

Beautiful course in nice condition but it was the day before Easter so it was packed. It took 5 hours and 15 minutes to play. Other than the pace it is a really tough but enjoyable course. The price was very low considering the quantity of this course. I will try it again soon.

Overall really good. Fairways were dry in some parts but greens were amazing

Staff and help are super friendly and helpful. Course needs some work, but until the springs rains start it will be dry with semi-barren spots.

Course was in great shape. Had nothing to complain about it. Our only negative was that the beverage cart never came out, it was a beautiful but scorching hot day.

Front 9 is fine. Good holes, greens good as well. Back 9 is non-discript, except 17 & 18. Flat, fairways in poor condition, traps are terrible. Pace of play was bad as well. There were numerous twosomes out there - terrible.

bad staff attitude - only talked to themselves, no help at all. pro shop uninterested in helping, and then the course. Don't waste a cent here, you are better off going to a driving range and practicing,; the only thing worth a mention is the greens - pretty good...
Never again will i visit, play or refer....

Course is in fair condition, some fairways could need a little work. Back nine are beautiful, but somewhat challenging with water around everywhere. Back nine much nicer that front nine.

Nice course but fairways were a little thin. Greens over all were in good condition. Staff were very helpful.

The greens were fast and true. The rest of the course was not in the greatest of shape.

Pace to start was frightening. Got better but still was really bad. Bad enough to effect performance, at least for me. Did not eat any food. Greens were in good shape & not as difficult as I've found some other courses in the area. Back 9 more difficult with more water in play. No GPS on carts.

Had a really nice round of golf - very good conditions, fast greens and a nice layout

Course in great shape even if they spray paint the greens. Cart path only on the back nine after rain the day before. Water on the back nine looks great and makes you pay attention to what you are doing. Would play it again without hesitation.
