Myrtle Beach National Golf Club - South Creek Course
About
Southcreek winds through a magnificent setting of coastal wetlands and hardwood forests. Most golfers find SouthCreek to be the "finess" course of the three golf courses at Myrtle Beach National. At just over 6,400 yards from the back tees, SouthCreek requires less distance but greater accuracy. Numerous waste areas and well protected bentgrass greens, place a premium on your course management and shot-making ability.

Fifth Time wasn’t a charm…
Fifth time we’ve played South Creek and no issues with course or conditions but huge issue with Pace of Play. 4:45 is totally unacceptable this time of year. Torture…. Also have never cared for how as soon as you pull up to bag drop they are opening your trunk without your permission and yanking the bags out before one can even get out of the car. We had 3 expensive PING woods loose on top that I didn’t want crashing to the pavement and the bag gentleman didn’t seem to appreciate me telling him to wait till I got out…. Despite these two minor glitches will definitely return to MBN in ‘25.
Nice Track
Myrtle Beach National South Creek was in a good condition, the greens were nice and rolling true. Unfortunately, we had about an inch of rain the night before so there was some wet spots on the course. Otherwise, very nice layout and well worth the money.
Tough, tough shape
The layout was fine. Perfect day. Not able to understand how the fairways and most of the course played muddy, all day, with no rain for days. The greens were bumpy and areas were unplayable.
Myrtle Beach National
Course was in good shape, greens medium speed, but rolled true, enjoyed the round, hadn’t been here in years
Still a little wet from Debby but playable…
Some wet swampy wet spots on fairway …. (we moved our ball to a drier area close by). Greens were fine but a bit slow. Always try and be below the hole if possible on a Palmer course…. you’ve got a downhill breaker if you don’t. Cart girl was around regularly. Decent value for money
