Myrtle Beach National Golf Club - South Creek Course

About
Southcreek winds through a magnificent setting of coastal wetlands and hardwood forests. Most golfers find SouthCreek to be the "finess" course of the three golf courses at Myrtle Beach National. At just over 6,400 yards from the back tees, SouthCreek requires less distance but greater accuracy. Numerous waste areas and well protected bentgrass greens, place a premium on your course management and shot-making ability.

First Timer
Greens punched . Putting was tough . Overall Im satisfied. Only downfall was the course really didn’t resemble online pictures. They made it look immaculate.
Slow play
Slow play and no ranger to enforce or encourage faster play.
Nice course but
Nice course for the money but we booked 18 on golf now at 5pm and the lady stopped us on back 9 said we had to come in and couldn’t play our full 18. So don’t offer 18 holes if you can’t stand to stay a little later.
Good tracks
Booked round on South Creek. Elected to play alone. Went off back 9 with no one in sight. Played and hit practice shots/putting too. Front side stacked so asked starter to play another 9. Jim put me on West front 9. Finished in 3.5 hrs. Ran into 6 guys playing a friendly scramble. They ushered me through immediately. South Creek was tighter and called for more precise tee shots. West was tree lined, but wider fairways. Both sides had similar greens which are in good shape. Will definitely play again. Good chipping, putting and range areas also.
Great time
Course was in great shape and staff was very accommodating. Will be back to play again.
Great layout and conditions.
Early in the season but the course was in great shape. The greens were flat and rolled very well. Enjoyed the variety of layout of the holes. Not overly difficult but nicely challenging. This was the nicest course we played here and would play again. Even though it was very busy with three courses on one site, the staff were all very friendly.
Not the best
We played in March, dry ground and outside the fairway everything is brown. The reception staff only asks to receive a tip. The attendant at departure was not welcoming at all. I encourage you to play Man O War which is a little more expensive but there you will have a whole field and it is right next door
Great Course
First time playing the course. All staff were friendly and helpful. Got paired with a random twosome and they were good guys. Greens were in really good shape. I would recommend this course and will definitely go back to play it again.
