Myrtle Beach National Golf Club - South Creek Course

About
Southcreek winds through a magnificent setting of coastal wetlands and hardwood forests. Most golfers find SouthCreek to be the "finess" course of the three golf courses at Myrtle Beach National. At just over 6,400 yards from the back tees, SouthCreek requires less distance but greater accuracy. Numerous waste areas and well protected bentgrass greens, place a premium on your course management and shot-making ability.

Quirky Layout and Overbooked
Course was average some really narrow fairways with doglegs. playing groups of both nines with a flip is just caos. Would be better to do a shot guns start early am and another for 1 o'clock. If you want to put that many people through.
Like being on Cruise Control
I was out of town and decided to try and play 18. The Golf Now app made it easy to find a great deal... locate the course and get on the 1st tee without any hassel whatsoever. It was like putting your car on cruise control!
The course was very nice. At the end of the day I was very satisfied with the overall experience of it all. Would highly recommend to a friend.
Great day
Great staff. Great coarse. Very friendly
Little pricey but great day overall.
Seasonal Condition
Course overall not too bad, greens a little rough.
Great day at a great course.
The greens and fairways are in great shape. It was a little bit damp so I didn’t get much roll out in the fairways and the balls will stop and grab on the greens. The putting surfaces are really nice and the ball rolls smoothly and a little lift clean and place never hurt anyone if you want to take care of the occasional mud ball. The staff was great as well. This place has its s**t together so go enjoy a round at one of the three courses, you won’t regret it.
Due to a group showing up late there was quite a backup at tee. The starter sent us over to start on 10. Sailed right thru from there on
Enjoyable layout
Have played South Crerk several time. It's a lady friendly layout while being challenging enough for the average golfer. Pace of play was a problem the day we played. We were the 2nd afternoon tee time and waited over 30 minutes for the morning's lat 3 groups to make the turn. The final group was more than 10 minutes behind group in front of them. The course need to have policy in place to speed up the extremely slow groups. Even that being said, enjoy the course when playing with wife.
