About
Southcreek winds through a magnificent setting of coastal wetlands and hardwood forests. Most golfers find SouthCreek to be the "finess" course of the three golf courses at Myrtle Beach National. At just over 6,400 yards from the back tees, SouthCreek requires less distance but greater accuracy. Numerous waste areas and well protected bentgrass greens, place a premium on your course management and shot-making ability.

Cart Path Only
Unfortunately it was cart path only the day I played. Despite that I was teamed with some nice local ladies and we had a fun round. With lots of dog legs you must target your tee shots. Bag drop off area & folks were exceptionally nice.
Always a pleasure to play
Played here several times over the years and this course has never disappointed in playing conditions.
Very Scenic
Scenic stands of pine trees and water made for a challenging but pleasant round.
Quirky Layout and Overbooked
Course was average some really narrow fairways with doglegs. playing groups of both nines with a flip is just caos. Would be better to do a shot guns start early am and another for 1 o'clock. If you want to put that many people through.
Like being on Cruise Control
I was out of town and decided to try and play 18. The Golf Now app made it easy to find a great deal... locate the course and get on the 1st tee without any hassel whatsoever. It was like putting your car on cruise control!
The course was very nice. At the end of the day I was very satisfied with the overall experience of it all. Would highly recommend to a friend.
