Farmstead Golf Links

Fun track with a good mix of hole difficulty. Consistent greens combined with a links layout makes for a great day of golf. Friendly staff. Make Farmstead a must play on your list.

Played 07/31/2017 and enjoyed it very much. All of the staff personnel were very friendly, helpful, humorous, and a pleasure to talk with. The course is a very fair course that is always kept in very good condition. A crowded morning when we teed of and it took us right at 4 hours to play. A good pace of play. This course is off the beaten path but well worth your the time to find. I will play in the future and recommend you do also!

Always like playing Farmstead. It is in good condition and a little challenging. Greens in great shape.

Excellent Staff, Course Layout and a Pleasure to Play.

First time playing at Farmstead and we really enjoyed it. Well maintained, challenging track. Enjoyed the par 6.

This was my first time playing Farmstead and I was highly impressed. The staff was great! The greens had been punched a couple of weeks prior to when I played, so the surface was a little rough, but I would say they were about 90% of being back to standard. The rest of the course was in pristine condition. All in all, I would definitely play here again!

This course is in great shape, from tee to green!! The staff was extremely helpful and they valued you as a Golfer and ensured you of a great experience. Greens were in perfect shape, even in the hot Carolina summer sun. I also suggest that you book directly with the Course, as they will ensure you of the best price. I will ensure I return next year.

Enjoyed this course. From tee box to fairway to green, it was in excellent condition. Played white boxes but the tees were back on the day we played so the course played long. The greens were some of the best I have played in years.

My wife & I played after being away from golf for 2 years. Our sorry play was not because of course conditions. Weather was beautiful and so was the course. I have played most of the courses in the Myrtle Beach area in the last 50 years. This is a course without trick holes and is challenging but fair for everyone. Second time we played and will play again when we return to the area.

This was our 3rd time playing this course. It's a great layout and in great condition!!!

First time playing this course and it was AWESOME. Very nice and friendly staff. Great layout and challenging. Will play every year when I come back. Best course I have ever played.

Great course all around.. best greens I have played on period. Tee boxes and fairways are great too. Fun playing a course where greens are this nice and PGA Tour quality. The layout is fun. Would definitely recommend to others if looking for some challenge and excellent playing conditions . Hoppefully other courses around the area can take note on the type of greens farmstead uses.. I believe it is called tif eagle bermuda.

Had an early afternoon tee time and was offered to go off the back nine. Great layout and nice greens (large and true). No gimmicky holes. Only shortcoming was the fact I did not see the beverage cart my entire round.

I'll be sure to visit again!

We had a good experience on a day that had EXTREMELY high winds. The greens were firm but mostly receptive. Fast but not too fast. The greens, tees, fairways and rough appeared to be all bent and in good condition. The bunkers were well maintained but there was WAY too much very soft sand towards the top, resulting in 3 completely plugged lies on shots that were not that bad. Overall, this was a great course (and I birdied the Par 6 18th hole!)

Excellent value course that holds your concentration and enjoyment much better than some more expensive courses. Lay out/design suits the eye, all round conditioning is above average and greens are nice and true. Choose the right tees and it will challenge any handicap player. Staff could not be nicer and are very genuine in their attitude. You will not be disappointed if you choose to play here.

We thoroughly enjoyed our round at Farmstead Links. We were paired with another twosome who were most welcoming and fun.

Added this course late in our week for a change of pace. And super happy we did!! Most holes are true links. Open fairways, run up approachs are possible. Windy due to it so open. Conditions amazing!! Get ready #18 plays 767 yards par 6 around a lake. Course also plays back and forth between North Carolina and South Carolina. Keep ur eyes open for gators.
