Great layout bunkers were poor due to heavy rains
The rain the night before made bunkers unplayable but course was in great shape it was cart path only due to heavy rains
2” of rain last night and course was good shape bunkers were very wet but was expected

First-rate NC golf course
We enjoyed playing at Meadowlands very much. The course condition was excellent - especially considering that Spring growth hasn’t really begun yet. Beautiful scenes on most holes. Alligator hazards were clearly posted, though we didn’t see any that day. Plenty of water and fairway bunkers which can be reasonably avoided. This was our first round there and we were surprised by blind water features on several holes. Once you know the course layout, the hazards can be avoided. Staff were very friendly and helpful, carts worked fine. The greens were challenging with lots of uneven surfaces, but the green surfaces were in great shape. This was the third course we played in a week at Sunset Beach and it was the only one that had cart paths in very good condition.
Meadowlands was in great shape!!!
The course was in great condition and played nicely. Risk reward opportunities are plentiful although I didn't get many rewards myself this day. Greens were quick and undulating so they are challenging. Highly recommend this course.
What an amazing gem!
My daughters fiancé and I had a 1308 tee time. We arrived at 1246, checked our bags and headed into the pro shop to check in. Everyone we encountered on the staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The course was open ahead of us so we were able to start at 1255. It’s still early for the grass to green up here, but this courses fairways and greens were as lush and well kept as I encountered this time of year. The course has a lot of hidden water and well placed bunkers. I will definitely look to play here again the next time we visit Myrtle Beach!
Lots of Water
Good layout but like a lot of courses at the beach a bit too much use of water as penalty areas on sides of fairways and in front of greens. Fairways and tees in good condition and greens were smooth although slow. Some good par 3s and 4s. Par 5s were all about the same length from the white tees and too short. Ok to have one or two under 460 but all 4 were 475 or less. Made up for it with some strong par 4s of 380 +. Moved around quickly in well under 4 hours.
Outstanding Course / Great Layout
Nice course conditions, good greens, not too fast, challenging layout. Setting in a nice, new neighborhood with nice scenery.
Great Time
My wife’s birthday was last weekend and we went to the Meadowlands to golf. The staff was friendly and the course was in good shape, given all the rain recently. The wind and wet conditions made the course challenging, but the greens were in great shape.
I’m a 18 handicap and somehow managed to shoot under 100 in those conditions and only lost one ball. Wife enjoyed it too. Can’t wait to go back!
Beautiful and challenging
Slow start because of a frost delay. Had a afternoon tee time but was able to finish 4 hours. Friendly staff. Would definitely play again.
