What you see is what you get. Traditional golf on the NC /SC border.
Nice Course
The course is in good shape and has lots of water and bunkers. The fairways are fairly wide on some holes. I liked the course a lot. If I didn’t have a golfnow deal it would be too expensive though. The cart/starter guys are a little blunt, and I could see how that could rub some people the wrong way. They talked kind of forcefully about 90 degrees and enforcing pace of play, but in our 4:40 round we never saw a ranger. I don’t think that’s unusual, but why claim you’ll enforce pace of play if you aren’t going to? I like being paired up with new people when I’m a single, but they put a total stranger in the cart with me. I was not comfortable with that, and the guy never stopped talking. I don’t know if that’s common in the area, but I’ve never seen it. Overall it was a nice course though. Maybe have the staff lighten up a bit and don’t put strangers in the same cart.
Good Course in Good Condition
Course is in good condition for late March. Course layout is challenging, but playable. Two or three fun holes where shot placement is critical.
Sunday March Golf
Need to use some Golf Now Rewards. Course close to home. Never played it before. Good Golf Course
Good Valie
Good pace of play, overall conditions are good for this time of year except some rough areas on several greens.
Over 4.5 hours to play 18
Marshals identified group causing delay but did not deal with it.
Nice but challenging course.
Slow play ... 4.5 hours. Marshalls identified slow group, but couldn't get them to speed up.
Wow
Had a great time, slight rain and we had course to ourselves. Staff was friendly and we we had a nice breakfast sandwich to start us off. Nice layout and lots of fun!!
