Boulder Creek Golf Club - Coyote Run/Eldorado Valley
About
Boulder Creek Golf Club offers 27 holes of championship golf. There are three different nines that each have a unique character, they can be played in different 18-hole combinations. The Coyote Run/Eldorado Valley combination is both challenging and playable with a tough front nine and a more player-friendly back. The front nine is routed across an arroyo-covered landscape, which can sometimes provide errant shots with a variety of scoring opportunities. The subtle but tricky elevation changes can work in your favor but they can also be punishing. The back nine is the shortest of the three but you would certainly never guess it. There are plenty of opportunities for long drives and golfers will also enjoy unobstructed shots from the lush fairways. There are strategically placed bunkers throughout and water comes into play on a few holes.

Hidden Gem
I typically play the city courses when I am in Las Vegas but ventured out to Boulder for a round at Boulder Creek. I am so glad that I did. First, the staff greeted my buddy and I very warmly. It was almost like they knew me. In the club house, one of the staff members gave us tee locations and was told us that with the wind up, a couple of the holes on the back would be challenging. Was able to get a quick bite inside at the restaurant before teeing off. The sandwich was outstanding along with the Bloody Mary.
It's 3-Nines and we played El Dorado and Desert Hawk. The course was well maintained for February and the greens were a bit faster than expected. They were smooth though. The sight lines were a bit tricky and if you run across the fairway, you could get into some trouble. BTW, saw lots of wildlife (Coyotes, Road Runners, etc). Pace of play was great also. So much so that we ended up playing the other 9 (Coyote Run) so we ended up playing 27 holes.
After the round, we grabbed burgers and drinks at the restaurant to relax. Again, the food was outstanding and the service was excellent. Shared an order of wings with my buddy and we each ordered the Burger with bacon and cheese and onion rings. This is a great course and I look forward to playing it again.
Enjoy a fun day in Boulder City
Nice friendly course not hard and fun way to spend the day
Awesome Challenges
The course offers a selection of three 9 hole courses, in which each offers a different level of challenges. Each time me and my group play, the greens are allways in emaculate shape. Hole locations and undulations will challange you and your friends each round.
We were snowed out after 9 hole and they shut the course down.
I asked for a rain check for the back 9 , they refused and told me because I booked through GolfNow I would have to contact you for the refund, I am not very happy when a resident pays $65:00 and non resident pays 120 each and they wouldn’t even give us a rain check when they shut the course down
Snow in the desert
Dear Golf now,
Today we arrived at the course expecting wind and rain which is part of the game, but when we got to the 1st tee the rain began and quickly turned to snow. Needless to say we were not able to play the round that was purchased through golfnow.com. the club house said they cannot give us a refund. They told us that a representative from your company can call and confirm that we were not able to play due to the weather. Please contact me, as I can't find a phone number or email address to get in contact with anyone from your company. Thank you
Never a dull day
Played with three friends. The course was just coming back from the cold winter and the fairways were painted green. The greens were in great, fast speed, but there were many ball marks left by careless golfers, as well as many footprints in the sand traps, again left by thoughtless golfers.
However, we played in 4 hours and had a great time. I repaired perhaps five ball marks on every green and seeded several divots, left open by thoughtless golfers. I thought perhaps the starters could remind all golfers about seeding divots, raking traps and fixing ball marks, so golfers behind, made the golf fun and enjoyable.
we played El Dorado and Desert Hawk and we enjoyed the courses. The young lady on the beverage cart was prompt and visited us 3 o4 four times during the round. I hope IPA beer gets back on the cart.
There are still traps which have rocks in them and hope the crew can deep rake them and remove.
The three 9 hole courses and the warm up areas are great to get warmed up at and the putting green is the same speed as the greens on the courses played. We will try to play here once a month from here on out.
At almost 81, but a 9 handicap, I would like there to be senior tees in place, so that seniors can keep up with the pace of play. The ladies tees are too close for seniors.
Painted fairways
Evidently another excellent course that could or did not get winter seed, so they painted the fairways green. Still, Awesome and difficult course.
Very solid course(s). Fairways painted since it dormant.
Very solid course(s). Fairways painted since it dormant. 4-some Played 18 holes in about 4:25(not amazing golfers). Gravel bunkers and waste areas. Fairways very hard(hit a couple 350+ drives).
