About
Legacy Golf Club sits on 28 acres of Dwight B. Heard's turn-of-the-20th-century ranch, home to 1902 silos that decorate the 18th fairway - once the tallest manmade things in Maricopa County. More history is on the first tee, in the Sierra Vista House which counts among its early-1900s visitors Theodore Roosevelt and Pancho Villa.
Gary Panks designed the golf course at the Legacy Golf Club, giving it lush fairways, strategic hazards and manicured greens to test all golfers. Native flora grows from the landscape, and the club's elevation offers a vista of Camelback Mountain, Squaw Peak and the skyline of Phoenix.

Good solid desert course
Legacy is not a five star course, but it is not priced like one either. It is a good solid desert course with a good layout and good pace of play (at least for us). It is not particularly easy, but what self-respecting masochistic golfer wants that anyway? Have fun.
Great course
Awesome bang for your buck course in the Phoenix area. Course was in great shape, fairways and greens were perfect. Staff was super friendly. Starter is a great guy. Course is pretty easy if you stay out of the bunkers, rough is short grass, just burnt/dormant so you can get good lies pretty much anywhere. Some of the green complexes were pretty cool.

Excellent course for the money. Wide generous fairways, and good target lines. Greens rolled very well but speed seemed to change throughout the day. Started out quick and gradually seemed to slow on the back nine. Bunkers, especially the fairway bunkers are extremely penal. Very deep.

Great course for fair price
First time playing the course. Fairways and greens in great condition. Fair price for Arizona golf in February. Will definitely play again!!

Nice course
Pace of play a little slow 4-1/2 hrs, but to be expected,. Fairways & traps were good, greens were nice, running at about 10-1/2. Enjoy the layout playing it again in 2 days

I play the scores all the time it's in great conditions however for a $165 I shouldn't be playing 5 and a 1/2 hour rounds....

Jewel in the desert
The course is well laud out and fun to play. Fairways and greens are in excellent shape.
Pace of play could have been faster to my liking but not bad overall.

Worth Going
Played from the tips, the course is fair but challenging. Greens had some rough patching but overall from the tees to the green the course was in outstanding shape. Avoid the bunkers. Would absolutely play it again.
