About
The 18-hole North Shore Golf Club in Orlando, Florida is a semi-private golf course that opened in 2001. The course slides around lakes and wetlands, and then detours through a grove of large ancient oak trees before re-emerging into the clear at the finish. It has two distinct nines converging to form one remarkable 18-hole layout. Begin your round on the Modern nine, winding through native wetlands and Florida's natural topography. The Classic nine is carved through a grove of 100-year old oak trees, creating an enjoyably unique setting for your finishing holes. North Shore Golf Club is located less than 10 minutes from Orlando International Airport and offers a complete practice facility and world-class instruction.

Very nice course
This is a very nice course in very good condition when I played. Nothing to complain about. Tees, fairways, and greens all in good shape. Greens are fast. Check-in was courteous. Pace of play was good. Very nice scenery with a mix of open and tree lined fairways. The track was an average challenge with #17 seeming impossible from the blues. Beverage cart came by a few times, rest areas in good places, and clubhouse/bar was very convenient at the turn. No drinking water or ball washes on the course. Definitely recommend.
Getting better
Played this course numerous times over the years and recently, last few years or so, it has been in subpar conditions and they were asking rates for prime conditions which it has not been in for quite some time. For the $55 rate we paid it was right on track for the value of the course. The course is getting back into shape but it is not pristine by any measure. Greens rolled well but not old North Shore speed and condition but certainly playable, fun and worth the money at 50-60$ currently. Definitely worth checking out as long as they keep the rates in that range and continue working on the course condition which they have.
Good option in the area
The course is in the best shape I have seen it in a loooong time. The course layout is always fun and challenging. The greens are in great shape with exception of one green that had fungus or similar. Fairways run good and soft. Tee boxes in good shape. Practice area is well kept. The course if is kept that way will see a lot of business.
Excellent course, greens were in good shape. I like that the driving range and practice putting green is right next to the 1st hole. We worth the money!
First time in 2;years
The greens need work. Bumpy and patchy in places.
Pace of play was good. some areas wet from hurricane but not bad. Overall as a Florida resident not a good deal for the price.
Enjoyable day of golf
Course was in good shape.. ball rolled well on the greens.. Fairways and tee boxes were in great shape.. the sand traps were ready for winter golf.. enjoy it!
Great course
The course was in excellent condition considering it's only been one week since Hurricane Milton came through.
This course is a great test and in good shape.
Just pick the right tee boxes for your skill level.
Post-Milton Yet Playable
North Shore held up reasonably well. They lost a few trees (though not the ones I'd like to see them lose—I'm looking at you on the right of the 12th fairway), and branches were down everywhere. The course needs some cleanup and TLC, but it is playable and value for the money. Greens are slower than usual (not sure they've been able to mow) and patchy in spots. All in all, soggy but much drier than I expected. Great staff as always.
Post Hurricane Golf
It was cart path only but I had a lot of fun. I appreciated them being open. The course I originally booked was closed when I got there, so I ended up at this course. The course had character and I liked that.
